  1. Seraphine will stay an omnipresent pro pick because of the power of her ultimate (and the heal+shield). The ultimate extending on every champion makes it one of the strongest ultimates in the game, especially in coordinated play. This alone is really strong, but the CC duration (1.25s/1.50s/1.75s) puts it over the top. This ability should be changed in some way to make her less omnipresent in pro play.
Removing the extending on champions seems like a too big of a change, but having it only extend on enemies makes much more sense in my opinion.
If they don't want to remove this part of the ability (makes it unique so understandable), the duration of the cc it provides should atleast fall off based on how many times the ultimate has bounced, which should make it less of a no risk involved backline CC attack (would also make more sense as sound falls of in volume over distance).

  2. Who'd have thunk it. When you nerf a champion (Samira) you (Riot) considered balanced so far into the ground they're melting from proximity to the planet's core, nobody plays her except for OTPs.

  3. Tbh with them trying to differentiate between muramana and essence reaver, i think they should make essence reaver not a crit item anymore, a lot of champions that want a mythic other then tri force are building essence reaver because they want a sheen proc but most of them dont care about crit.

  4. Finally that plastic turd seraphine is nerfed!

EDIT. Nevermind, that's not a nerf, because it barely affects anything that makes her strong.

Next step: kick her out from the League!

  5. seraphine is not a midlaner
her entire kit is a supports kit, and the rioter that is trying to convince us she is a midlaner and not a support is just bizare

riots design team made a support, and because they didnt make a midlaner riots balance team is fixated on trying to balance her as a midlaner even though she is not
her passive is a supports, her w is a supports, her e is a supports, her r is a supports

she has the most GIMPED scaling in the game on some of her abilities (her W is the only ability in the game that actually gets worse with rankup, the mana cost over doubles while the cd goes down from 24-20 secs and THATS IT, its activly bad to rank up the w) because she is a support they are trying to force as a midlaner

riot….we are fine with her being a support, you dont need to try and force a non midlaner into the midlane because you dont have a midlaner for us
jsut let her support for christ sakes and stop giving her the weirdest numbers in the game

  6. Hot take: Triforce is basically a worse version of Divine Sunderer on literally all of its old users.

The reason is 100% because of the unique passive. Percent base AD feeds into the autos and sheen, but nothing else. You’re getting deceptive little ramp because Triforce users tend to have bonus AD ratios.

  7. The Crit damage thing you talked about is how it USED to work, afaik, it's completely overhauled now and the %critDamage stat you could get from e.g. runes back in the day no longer exists on champions.

Nocturne's passive is one of the last remnants of the old times, because it'll just multiply his damage by 1.1 (he wants to deal 20% bonus damage and thinks he can still do 200%*1.1), so now that it's 1.1*175% he deals less damage than intended. But it makes for a cool history lesson, at least.

  8. I really don't understand what they're trying to do with Seraphine. You designed her to be a solo laner, yet you gave her a passive that benefits from being near multiple allies and an ability that has synergy with their cc. Not to mention her lore is about bringing people together… so she's a solo laner…

  9. Rito: makes a champion, which litterally gets missiles and attack-range for nearby allies.
Players: play her in duo lane
    Rito: surprised pikachu

(the way I would like to see Seraphine being pushed to mid-lane would be to make her root/stun duration on her e scale with points in e, since midlane gets levels faster, that would mainly hit duo-lane Seraphine. Similarly moving some of her damage from base-values to ap-scaling might also help imo, since she would be incentivized to build more ap and not support items.)

  11. Yeah I looked into some winrate before and Saw AP twitch as a stable 50% winrate while all other builds (crit, leathality) had higher winrates between 53-60% winrates. (source LoLgraphs). So seeing a twitch nerf had me many questions aince it’s the most popular build, even through it’s not as good as AD.

Also Phreak, have you checked into Average KDA ratings for champions? I wish to have your thoughts over the average KDA of Marksmen.

  12. Phreak, please. I've always seen you as a voice of the people regarding league. Can you get them to address the LP this season, its unplayable. Winning 13 and losing 16 six places below where I finished last season (getting 20 a win). What have they done?

  13. Ugh. Because Pyke wasn't hard enough to poke out of a duo lane before… Just get rid of grey health for Pyke and rebalance him around finally having a real weakness.

  14. I think what was missed when discussing the pyke changes was that his lethality scaling also changes when near 2 or more enemies. Meaning you one wouldn't need 60 lethality to match the grey health gained before the patch, but 30, as the lethality has a 50% ratio.
