Honestly this is definitely up there for top 3 LOL cinematics. The music, the animation and the very subtle details that you pick up on re-watching it. Love or hate Yasuo/Yone.. You just can't dislike art of this calibre and I hope to jesus we get too see some of Yasuo and Yone in Arcane. Riot just slap, pure talent, bravo.
This is by far the most gratuitous cinematic for anime and action fans. I totally want an Ionia "arcane" as well
the old man is an azakana, it is explained in Yone's story that Azakanas are spirits that haunt people behind their back corrupting them through their deepest emotion, slowly suck out the victim's strength by exploiting their weakness until the day the victim die. you can see he attack yasuo mentaly to evolve in this cinematics, and because he's Yasuo's demon, Yasuo can't really see him change when he's in trance.
when Yone die, his Azakana try to take him over , he fought the demon and win, now the popwer of that Azakana becomes his, he use that power to track down and capture other Azakanas, the captured Azakana become a mask.
the game "Ruined king" is directly after this cinematic, it explains Ahri's lore alot there too, so cool.

Kayn is actually semi-possesed by the Darkin Rhaast, Yone on the other hand is semi-possessed by an azakana. Darkin's are different than azakana.
Darkin's (Rhaast, Varus, Aatrox) are corrupted Ascended (Nasus, Renekton, Azir etc) that were sealed into weapons
Azakana on the other hand are ancient demons (fiddlesticks, tahm kench, evelyn, etc)
that the gist of it, have fun reading the lore if you do plan to.
Aatrox, Varus and Raast (Kayn's scythe) are not quite Demons, they're Darkin – corrupted Ascended from Shurima (they once were like Nasus, Renekton and Azir) but fell into madness after shurima itself fell, then they wage war agains the Ascended and were ultimately sealed into weapons, 'cause they could not be killed.
The demons Yone hunts are called Azakana, they're the manifestation os people's negative emotions and trauma. If let loose, they can grow stronger while feeding off misery. I believe Fiddlesticks is like, a MAJOR demon, much more powerfull than the Azakana type. If you're playing Yone against a Fiddle he actually acknowledge that saying "Is this what an Azakana could become?"
