Apex Legends A New Weapon Ability Is Coming To The Game!

In today’s video I go over how the nemesis ar might bring with it a new weapon ability, similar to what we have seen with the rampage and the sentinel. This is looking to be an interesting one, and hopefully it changes up the meta a bit! It has been a long time since an assault rifle has been added to the loot pool, so I’m very interested in seeing how it works in practice. Hope you enjoy 🙂

  1. I do like the full auto idea but considering that most of the energy weapons have bolts of electricity spreading from the barrel, I think it'd be cool if you used an arc star to charge it and give it disruptor rounds or just a shock DOT effect

  2. Are we reaching the stage where the game has to introduce gimmicks that contribute to power creep in the weapon pool? A gun that uses 2 ammo types, one that can break down doors and now more gimmick based weapons. It might be "fun" but the game is already RNG based and difficult to manipulate so should there really be more opportunities for your opponents to have additional abilities and situational tools "just because"

  3. I think it'd be cool for the Nemesis to require 1 mag worth of energy ammo (so ~30 bullets or whatever an upgraded mag might be) to charge a full-auto mode (requires it to reload first) instead of another shield cell or grenade-charging weapon

  4. nice idea but you can see the infinite sign below the ammo. showing that the weapon is full auto.

if you want to test yourself pick up a full auto weapon in the fireing range and check it out

  5. Disagree with it’s “Amped” state being Full Auto. Make it a 4-Round Burst AR that uses the Havoc’s Selectfire Hitscan beam as its “Amped” state.

This gives you the potential of an AR that exceeds the Hemlock’s effective range, but should NOT exceed its DPS. Amped Hitscan beams would also take more ammo per shot (3-5 ammo per for example).

  6. Single beam sounds like a mini-charge rifle, and if that's the case, I'd much rather have the full-auto while charged mode instead. Now that sounds like a fun weapon to have in your loadout!

  7. I don’t know if anyone talked about this yet, but what about one of the guns the bots use in firing range when you turn them on to attack you? Haven’t done it in a while but I remember distinctly hearing an energy gun with a new sound, it was a 3 burst and no other gun had that sound in the game. I never got a look at it, but would that have a good chance at being what the nemesis would sound and fire like?
