Apex Legends This Needs To Stop Soon + Arenas LTMs?

In today’s video I give you my opinion on the whole arenas mode challenge situation. Personally, while I do think arenas has a lot of potential, simply slapping some challenges for in every LTM we see isn’t going to cut it. If respawn wants to increase the playerbase for arenas mode they should focus on creating more content such as possibly adding limited time modes to arenas in the future. Hope you enjoy 🙂

  1. Keep in mind, the situation is slowly getting a bit better. We have a new map coming out soon and there are now challenges for both arenas and battle royale, which makes it equal. However, this still doesn't justify locking away certain rewards behind an arenas grindfest, especially when it comes to releasing events like the holodaybash which are completely seperate.

  4. Apex really needs to take notes from Fortnite. Epic fixes their game fast in a day or two or even the same week. They do live events, story lore . They always add new modes and creative maps , oh yeah and they support their players with creator codes, no you don't have to be a youtuber to get one . Epic also adds so much content and they support and listen to their community . Then there's Apex lmfaoo ehat a joke seriously . Step it up Apex.

  6. The other biggest problem in Arenas is marchmaking, which is even worse here.
    How it works in BR? You go " Ah, well, it's alright, different teams, maybe I'll get better teammates in next match, other weapons, different environment" and etc.
    In arenas you are FORCED TO stay for at least 3 matches with your 12lvl Lifeline who dosen't even know what's going on vs team of predators geared up with Rampages who just shoot at you from other side of the map.
    The map designs are quite ehh, too. Some of them are just big open spaces where again, people with sniper rifles/Rampages just sit on edge of map and shoot you.

  8. I’m in a weird situation with apex. I sold my PS4 right at the start of when Fuse came out, and I recently just came back at the end of season 10. I honestly haven’t played arenas at all, but I’m lucky enough to still be able to earn the current challenges with just duos and trios

  11. my problem with arenas is the meta. you can bet money that everyone in the match is using the r-301/ L-star. gets boring very quickly for me since I like using a large variety of weapons such as the 30-30 and re-45 more than the basic assault rifles.

  16. I really like playing arenas, honestly its seriously fun, but all I wish for are competent teammates in pubs, plenty of times I've gotten people who just picked up the game and the opponent is a team with 1500 arena kills each

  17. This game has NOT been fun for quite some time. Their matchmaking and direction made this game into a 24/7 sweat-fest. Problem is they got players invested when it launched because of the free-to-play, live-service model. The shady thing is, they know the more time goes on, people will just put up with more and more BS because they've already "invested" in the game. It's kind of like when you're in a relationship, but you're both unhappy, but you've also been together for 10 years to you might as well keep it going because it was all-for-not if you call it quits now. That's why all their "content" is just cosmetics now. This isn't a game anymore, it's a vending machine for EA.

  24. Funnily enough, I, and I'm sure others, are on the other side of this debate as we hardly ever play Br. Arenas has is problems most certainly, and could see a lot of improvements with balancing and maybe some 5v5 and 6v6 king of the hill/ctf additions, but the ability to avoid the bs of no audio third parties, and pick whatever load out you like and really focus on improving what you like, is amazing. Br is much slower at improving. But yeah arenas needs work. Lmgs need to be hard nerfed either price wise or something else

  26. Here is the thing. The people complaining about having to play arenas have a point. BUUT, as an arena player, I feel kinda forced to play br. There isn't a single colored or cool looking arena tracker. And we only have 3 trackers. Same with badges. We have 2 you can get immediately, a win streak one, and just a win one. And plus the events make us play br.

  29. One thing that would get me to play Arenas again is a more fair matchmaking. Why the f am I getting players who are 2% of my level and cannot survive a single around without me having to clutch every time? Why are damage and kill disparities so great amongst me and my team? I have gotten so tired of carrying every single game that I just stopped it with this mode. It's a chore and like you said, the fun is drained.

    Also the fact that my win rate is miraculously 60-65% every season, regardless how many games I play, makes it feel rigged. If it would be 40% and 60% another I'd see improvement, but this way it genuinely feels like matchmaking is setup for me to inevitably lose a couple games either by giving me horrible teammates, no teammates or an enemy team with perfect comms and better skill. Trash.

  30. I disagree MU sorry. Putting LTMs in arenas will make people go check out the LTM but at the end of the day the core mode is unchanged. It's simply a way for EA/Respawn to cash in on the Valorant type games without having to make a new IP. If it's not that popular it's not surprising as the core audience is there for BR and always was going to be.
