  1. A good tip for console is finding a sens that works for you and don't change it if you have a few bad games. I used to always change my sens around when I'd have a string of bad games

  2. I made the mistake of taking aim practice "too seriously" for a while, meaning I started getting bored of the aim-drills and also started plateauing. I gave myself some time off from aim-drills and just started playing a bit more in-game while practicing in-game recoil more. When I came a back to aim-training, I started smashing my previous scores in most drills. Conclusion: change things up every once in a while, keep things fresh and try to always improve, whether with an aim-trainer like Aim Lab or Kovaak or just in-game. 🙂

  3. Best ways to improve aim 😬:
    – Your IRL sitting position legitimately affects you (so be COMFORTABLE)
    – Spend plenty of time tweaking your controls in the firing range, I suggest using ALC
    – Play some arena matches as warmups
    – 1v1 sparring with a friend (or use the firing range bot easter egg to make them shoot back if you don't have friends like me)

  4. I was so stressed by not hearing about Aimlabs by the 2min mark that I'm dripping in sweat. Then 2:17 happened and I turned it off…even though I need aimlabs. 😅

And I thought 10 games in still counts as practice? 😳

    Pretty sure that

  5. Just play on PC lmao. Use your entire arm to aim over your thumbs. Makes a HUGE difference. I couldn’t get past D4 on console. Made masters the first time playing on PC lol

  6. I think using aim trainer can be pretty beneficial for a hip fire game like valorant, but in Apex it's really more beneficial to play the game. You need to learn how the sensitivity feels different when you ads with a 1x/2x/3x/4x so on. Becoming really good at hip fire in Apex will only take you so far. It might make you a bit better at shotguns for example, but maybe what you really need to learn was movement with shotguns and jiggle peaking in CqB. See how this has less to do with "muscle memory" and more to do with technique?

Disagree with the sentiment in this video. Don't get derailed, practice playing the game. Spend a good amount of time in the firing range to warm up, and do solo squads/arenas/hot dropping to improve faster mechanically.

Apex legends needs a much bigger focus on movement. How about instead of standing still in aim labs trying to hipfire moving targets, you should hop in Apex and get good at hitting targets while you're moving. It will get you much farther, trust.

Actual tips that will help you:
    1) Spend like a week dialing in on a sensitivity that works for you. Try a lot of different ones. Then don't change it for a long time.
    2) Try changing your fov in the 90-110 range. I've found i used to prefer 110 but play a lot better on 90 fov.
    3) At high fov, move your screen closer. At low fov move your screen farther away. To accommodate the motion sickness you might feel at low fov, and the loss of long range visibility you might feel at higher fov.
    4) Try not to change settings/setup when you have a bad day. Hop in the firing range and dial back in, or take a break. Developing consistent aim takes time. Get good at recognizing when you lose because of your aim, and when your aim really had nothing to do with it.
