3:57 – I think magical footwear would be better if it didn't prohibit you from getting boots for Xmin. Something about taking a rune that explicitly denies you an early game option doesn't seem right. It's not like overgrowth is like "you can't buy HP items for Xmin but then you get some for creeps that die near you" (or whatever it does), it's just the effect that takes a while to ramp up.
Maybe if instead of saying "no boots" they gave you a steadily increasing MS up to what boots would give and then it converted into boots at the end of its timer?
