This video shows how T1 absolutely stomped a game on Icebox in a pro tournament with one player in spawn the entire game.

  1. My friend went afk and im on a 1 v 2 situation wasting time so they cant plant the spike before its too late. I died and my friend who usually dies in the start of the round saved the day by going afk

  2. 2 questions.
1: why not take safe rotations? Turns the fight for sight into a 4v5, with good aim it should be an easy win.
2: doesn't this only work on icebox? Attackers spawn in icebox is very special as it is elevated and easy to hide in due to how high the platform is compared to the rest of the map.

  3. i think kj would be good too, like imagine on icebox using your turret on the middle box and alarmbot at A doors then you know immediately when theyre coming and are even more prepared to take players out if they do flank and don't have a clue that you're up in spawn. i like this idea and am gonna try it soon

  4. Already done this when we were loosing to aggressive mid pushes. Had a Guardian for long range and mid range combat, also used wall (me: Sage) to block the defenders' entry from the B site while watching mid easily. A cross wall perfectly blocks both entrance points from B site in Icebox.

  5. I feel smart now because this is literally how I've naturally come to play Icebox. I play Sova and all my lineups are to help my team from spawn ramp/platform or sides of the ramp to snow pile, kitchen/hallway, mid/under tube, yellow, Boiler/ mid.. Then each side of ramp has a pretty good dink spot to headshot flankers running across the spawn going one way or the other. And actually has a special dink peek for right down the middle of Mid over the closest container there. Usually go from pistol to Marshall and then to Operator depending how things going… Most of the angles are one offs tho. Which you eventually can play from garage or out front of A or top of containers in mid if they still wander through that way…
