  1. League is a 5v5 MOBA, Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. The old lore was all of these people/creatures had their own reasons for coming into the arena and were controlled by summoners (just in-game lore players) but they scrapped that and made their own world with expansive lore and characters and stories. But the game itself is still an arena with 3 lanes protected by towers, with a river and jungle in the center. You go to your respective area based on your role (top – top lane, mid – mid lane, jungle in the central areas, and then carry & support – bottom lane.) The goal is to get to the enemy's nexus and destroy it. It can be pretty strategical, very skill based, and also quite frustrating lol.

  2. I believe this is the trailer for the 2019 season, so it was just a hype video. League doesn't look like this at all, but its cool to see the characters in the game shown in this way to give them more life. It's a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) like DOTA (Defence of the Anceints) if you know that at all. The 2022 season starts in a few days, so hopefully there will be a new hype video for it.

You should react to "Top 10 200 IQ league of legends plays" from theScore esports. It's a good first one to watch since they explain what happens for each clip.

  3. if you are going to watch the worlds openings watch their music videos then the whole openings. 2018 was pop/stars and rise. 2020 was more and take over (opening on that was was bad by their standards cause of covid, and 2021 was welcome to the playground (no MV), enemy and burn it down (both of those are fire and the worlds of burn it down has a special part only for worlds done by denzel curry (the jink ekko fight in arcane guy).

  4. The video is just a hype video, but it has some loose lore elements to it, showcasing three areas and some champions, in particular you have draven in the arena who was bored until riven show up, a previous noxian just like him, and a worthy opponent to keep him excited.
Then you have the piano guy jhin, an assassin psychopath that's being hunt down by camille apparently in piltover a very steampunk area.
And then they show you irelia, and the battle of the placidium, against noxian invaders, before she get help from karma, akali, yasuo and kennen (the pikachu)

  5. I really enjoyed your "face of confusion" and not blinking the whole time. it reminded me to my own initial reaction when I watched this for the first time 😀 thank you

  6. So the actual game is a 5v5 MOBA (kind of like a real time strategy team deathmatch type of game) featuring champions – various characters, legends hailing from Runeterra. It consists of various regions – Noxus, a place where individual strength trumps everything, Demacia where mages and non-mages are engaged in civil war, the desert of Shurima, Ixtal, Targon, Icathia, Frejlord, Bilgewater, etc. etc.
Arcane takes place in Piltover, the city of progress and the city now known as Zaun (the undercity to Piltover).

The game has a simple goal – destroy enemy nexus (which is a certain structure in the enemy base) and both teams are trying to do just that. Then they take this concept and add various additional mechanics – towers that protect certain spots, three different lanes of approach towards enemy base, champions with unique abilities that will attempt to hinder you, controlled by other players, jungle, epic monsters, items, etc. etc. The core idea is simple and easy to understand but it has a lot of surrounding things that make everything very complex. I would run out of space for a comment if I had to describe all things that go into winning a game but that's the gist of what the answer to your question was.

  7. League of Legends is a moba game. There are three lanes with turrets in each lane. You fight the enemy team and destroy their turrets to get to their inhibitors. And then to eventually get to their Nexus. The team that destroys the Nexus wins. While the players in the game can be really toxic the game itself is actually a lot of fun and it's free to play. There are things you can buy in the game but anything and everything in the game can be unlocked for free

  8. So the graphics in League are nowhere near the level that Riot shows in their Cinematics though the characters and the skills you see them using are representative of what the basic model and skills are in the game. The characters in this one were Riven (f) and Drayven (m) in the arena; Camille (f) and Jhin (m) in the theatre; and Sion (big guy), Irelia (chick in red), Akali (smoke bomb ninja, same char in K/DA), Karma (lady casting shields/buffs), Yasuo (tornado guy) and Kennen (lightning ninja rat). League can be very frustrating sometimes, but it is enjoyable if you are into team battle arena games and can ignore the toxicity other players sometimes show. Riot has been non-stop upping their game on their Cinematics tho. Nothing like seeing your favorite champs in full HD action.

  9. Theory : the exploding police part with Camille (Fancy Cable lady) was just the artistic POV of Jhin (The masked Artist) but on camille's POV it is all blood and gore
