  1. 6:40 A.Wondering he was not very fast for an S-Rank Terran – What? But there was literally not much going on yet. Just stationary tank. tiny production. tiny scv production. initial scouting. That's it.

That's as saying you need to always spam cycle your group hotkeys, no you don't , you do that then when to check production frequently when there is lots going on, here there wasn't, or you need to constantly spam rightclick to move units (APM) to workaround the weird pathing, no here you don't, since the pathing of tanks was good, and again then were all stationary. You just click them to position + shiftsiege.

So I pretty much get this terran, simply being an efficient APM player, perhaps due to coming from another game – even though that's very spammy, but here realizing it's not about that but Macro. Keep in mind such players' apm becomes faster constantly throughout the game.

So yes please keep pointing this out, (honestly) but in longer games, where it makes sense.

PS: (If streamer reads this, I'm sure you don't mind hopefully, I personally really enjoy when I notice efficiently used actions – also day9 proposed this (precise clicks), of course the faster the better. Anyways it's important to note these players also get really fast over the course of the game. So I enjoy you point out these things, and I can adress one here.)

  3. God Starcraft is such a terrible fucking game ahahahahaha, I watch this terrible game exclusively for arty's rage, and it's so funny when he tries to defend the game by saying its very "mechanical" when what he really means is the game is a steaming pile of dogshit that doesnt have any of the expected features of a decent RTS. Also Atry is truly the unluckiest Starcraft player alive.

  4. INDEPTH Attack timers in Sc(2): I only found them for that game, atm, but they should be about equal, IIRC, and they certainly exist in both games:
Heads Up: Muta micro works because this delay doesn't affect first shot!!
For instance, the minimum delay is – 0.0625 . So yea this is as low as it can get… And it's the absolut edge, most variations are much smaller even. So Really Not randoming your damage but for these very rare incidents, it's simply for certain background reasons:
Some reasoning behind that this isn't just gameplay. BTW it actually also helps gameplay, such as less overkill damage. The reasoning is also in sound design and the uncanny valley effect.

If 50 marines fired their weapons at the same time, you'd hear 1 sound being massively layered on another. Also, it looks really artificial if there is no minute delay, as if all marines feel like robots.

This effect is very much so in crappier games like Supreme Commander where there is no such push to make things feel a live. Where unit idle animations feel repetitive and they fire at the same time. The game feel stale and lifeless to the point where I actually thought the game crashed but I was really just looking at 5 tanks.

50ms is almost neglible to gameplay standards since all attacks are in the 1-2 second range (50ms is 0.05 seconds btw)

This doesn't matter in your games, what matters actually is stuff such as unit AI,
to know about overkill shots – as said it doesn't affect first shot, so siege tanks can overshoot (sc1), so spread them, but not so much afterwards,
so it's much about unit PATHING,
and you controlling it in a way to make it go – concaves , drops, use abilities and so on. And much more important actually letting all the units attack (control groups), a-move it gogogoooo

So I think this really shows how much thought devs put into good games, and what a great game you are playing!
And again, never worry about this for your gameplay. Really no unit has any random damage, if anything – again – through pathing and your control!! You can see all the consistent design for instance, how a unit have simply 6 damage instead of a range (4-8 or so), but it solves lots of problems "in the background" and makes the game much smoother also gameplay wise.

He was the best Zerg and player in the World for quite some time.
    Had ridiculously low apm.
He just didn't see any point in spam clicking useless actions i guess 😂
Annoying i can't remember the name.
    Mind has gone blank.
    Someone help me out.
