  1. You can tell Dave is feeling the pain meds when he compares caviar to fish poop and then the talk about llamas spitting switches to spitting being unattractive. Dave thinks fish eggs are fish poop and llamas would be attractive if they didn't spit

  2. Tomato, I'm not gonna backseat, but instead give some helpful advice:

The wrench, crouch right click will place the create block in your inventory, preventing them from falling into conveyor systems.
I noticed you had issues rotating shafts, right click create blocks with the wrench to rotate them. Its a bit finicky, but I think you'll be able to figure it out.

Encased fans, using these you can send items up chutes, allowing vertical movement
not only that, but you can use it with water in front, to turn ore chunks into more dust than you got from crushing it, or with fire to bulk cook food, or with lava to bulk smelt items in front of it. This exceeds the x64 item limit. Increasing its power only increases its range, it does not decrease smelt time.

Chutes, placing one between the 2 crushing wheels from ontop, and below, removes the potential of dropped items either clogging or falling into other belt systems. Placing an open top chute on the end of a belt will pass items through it without dropping them, also it will halt the rest of the items from continuing if the chute is full.
You can use a funnel to insert items into chutes from the side, via belts.

Be aware, its very easy to clog the system up with items dropped on belts. Fish can swim onto it and end up on the conveyor (I had my system clog from this).

Infinite Furnace Engine, If you place a chute ontop of the furnace, and an encased fan pulling from the chute ontop, it'll pull the item out before it finishes smelting. Thus, the system will never shut off. However this should only be used on a small scale system as a large system (like 10x yalls system size) will lag while turning off and on… alot. However this removes the requirement to smelt items, but you still need fuel.

Contraptions (this is where create shines). Theres a few ways to go about using contraptions but I wish to inform you of your only real use of it: A quarry. You can use a pully to lower a platform with drills on the bottom, and a chest on top down to the sea floor, it will mine the blocks, and place them into the chest. The number of chests do not matter, it will increase its storage however. To remove items from it, you can use a Portable Storage Interface to have it remove its items and place them into a chest without removing it from contraption mode. Or if you wish to have it as solid blocks during removal, a simple funnel next to where the chest would be solid again will do the trick.

I do hope you actually end up reading this and it gives you some help with using create.
