  1. 😆 the watches are the same as the Disney park Fast Pass watch. Ya use them to schedule your ride times at the parks kiosks and the system is a total disaster. Our 2017 Disney trip was a F-ing nightmare because of that BS.

  2. Do not strap a switch to your face, it’s not a VR headset. The reason it doesn’t have a strap is the same as the virtual boy, kids won’t take it off if it hurts.

  3. Widespread long-term bans shouldn't be allowed in general. There's the odd time where, yes I can agree it's reasonable to ban certain IP addresses or online features on an account. But even then I think that has to always provide the potential for the customer to be refunded in part.

  4. I can't blame nintendo for keeping the price high. The only reason to discount a game is if it isn't selling. And first party nintendo games usually sell around a million per year every year after launch. The decreased price wouldn't increase the sales to a point that would have a net increase in revenue.

But for those of us that buy the games on day one, it kind of justifies our purchase. Even if you wait, you aren't going to save money. But generally, if I don't want to pay full price for a game (Nintendo or otherwise), I didn't want it that badly anyway. No matter how low the price, I'm probably not very interested.

  5. Sony is probably waiting for the smaller, power efficient revision before they go all in on Japan. They have surprisingly high electricity prices. Around 4x compared to where I live anyway.

  6. User agreements are not legally binding if they are breaking a country's laws. Also banning hardware opens a whole other can of worms like buyers of used consoles not being able to use them properly.
IP bans were already retarded as most people don't have static IPs but people that are getting one of these blocked IPs might be wondering, why they can't access the service. Blocking the MAC is even worse and on devices like consoles, you can't spoof it.

Account bans are also questionable as you could lose access to countless games for a reason that has nothing do to with them. Only thing a company should be allowed to is blocking you from buying more stuff on their services, blocking you from using other services like forms and maybe blocking server access to certain game servers.
Companies like Sony are pushing the BS that you are only buying a right to use and not the game itself. This is undermining user rights and should be stopped. A company has no rights to change laws but of cause they are great at finding loopholes they can use against their customers, because in the end, these companies are led all greedy scum. They also know that most people are weak and lazy little addicts that rather give away rights like selling their used games for quick access without having to move their arses. I don't own a single "digital" console game except for a couple of freebies.

  7. Don't think I will ever buy any console online due these scalpers, I still have a great 'pap and mom' gaming store in my town. Been going there for 20 years now, and will keep buying my hardware from them. When they have it in stock, ill get one.

    Oh, and happy new year.

  8. The USEE AGREEMENT is not a contraact. And it cannot overwtrite the law or your rights. They can put whatever they want in there and the court does not need to uphold it. Baning a console is bullshit because people can sell USED CONSOLES. It is not right if they can permanently break a piece of hardware.

  9. Lol some judge in Brazil has no power over Sony.

It's Sony's console, they can ban them for any reason.
You DO NOT own your PSN account. Sony owns it. If you ever read the EULA or ToS, it states that you do not own your account, only that you can access it as long as Sony allows it.
They DO NOT have to allow you to access their network. You DO own your console, but you do not own the rights to their network.
