Alright, we had Alternate and Too Shiny. If we follow the logic, the next David Week cover should be Collision (even tho it's not exactly a GApple song)
I now believe that Alternate David sounded that way because of the song because this sounds like the old chromatic now with some separate sounds put in.

I’m gonna be honest, I loved the middle part where David sounded like the Alternate version. But in the beginning and end, Four and David both sounded weird and wonky. Four was out of tune, and David was just… David. I still love the cover so don’t take offense to this.

the switch in chromatics for david was really natural sounding. i didnt even pick up on it until a few seconds after it happened! also the four sprite is amazing, i love how it does the awesome face for the up pose LOL. the hat and shoes are a nice touch as well B)
