Friday Night Funkin’ is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Meanwhile, elsewhere:
"You asked Bendy to get them?!" Cuphead asked with an angry expression on his face.
"what's the matter? i just thought he'd be the right p-ink (play on "pick" and "ink", thank me later for it) for the job." The bonehead chuckled.
The young cup facepalmed and sighed, annoyed. "He couldn't handle a midget, much less those girls." He retorted. "Plus it's 4-on-1. No way he's winning."
He opened his eyesockets slightly and in surprise, not expecting that kind of response from him. "wow, that was rude. you're right about the match being a tad bit unfair, but don't you at least believe in him?"
"I know I double down a lot, but even I know when to fold!"
"sure, kiddo. whatever makes you sleep at night." He shrugged with his usual grin.
Alright, the first sudden change to Natsuki at the beginning and Monika's appearance at the end were great, but Sayori steals the show. You think her in Nightmare Mode was her absolute best? Nah, THIS is her ultimate form.
Lore Time:
With Natsuki's mode unlocked, Monika was wondering of a way for Yuri and Sayori to unlock their forms. After looking at a couple of Yuri's poems, Monika got an idea. She thought that training with a monster like Bendy would help her in unlocking Yuri's Nightmare Form.
Monika: “Hey Bendy, I think I know of a good way to get Yuri's Nightmare Form unlocked.”
Bendy: “Speak Child”
Monika: “Well since Yuri is a fan of horror, I thought maybe you could chase her around the studio. It’s for training obviously.”
Bendy: “How… Interesting.”
Monika: “Great, but remember: No Killing. Got It?”
Bendy: [Thought about it for a moment] “Very Well.”
Monika: “Alright, let’s do this.”
Monika transported Yuri and Bendy to the studio for training. It has been quite some time since her last visit to this wretched place. As she was recalling memories of the place, she came to a conclusion.
Yuri: “Oh, I’m back here. Must be for training.”
Monika: “That’s correct girlfriend. Bendy and the girls are gonna help you with this. Just to make things don't get out of hand.”
Yuri: [Yandere Form was kicking in] “Ah, that monster is coming for me. It's like a fated bond, I can tell this is going to be fun.”
Monika: “That’s the spirit. Oh here he comes.”
Bendy: “Prepare yourself Yuri. The Dark Puddles offer a trial.”
Yuri: “I’m ready when you are you Inky hunk.”

As part of the Nightmare Mode Training, speed, and endurance while being under pressure is one of the many ways too keep up with the Nightmare Mode's constant and wild energy. End up being too slow, you'll lose yourself to madness. In order to properly train this, the Ink Demon volunteered to be their mentor for speed training. He walked to a wall and passed through it, leaving an inky spot on it that emitted red multiverse aura. Cuphead and Sans told the club to follow him, but before they did, they let them off with a warning.
[The Dokis then arrived one of the many hallways of Joey Drew Studios. It was dull, lifeless, and had an eerie atmosphere.]
Sayori: Whoa… this place is creepy. This is where Bendy lives?
Natsuki: How can someone live in a place so broken and freaky!?
Yuri: I… know this place. Last time I was here, I was trying to help Bendy remember who I was since it had been some time since all of us saw him.
Monika: Did your plan work?
Yuri: It did, but only temporarily. Every time he is returned here, memories of us, Cuphead and Sans are completely blocked out because of this world's endless cycle…
Natsuki: That's just messed up! Why does this realm exist in the first place!?
Sayori: H-Hey, easy there! We're only just here to train with the ink demon!
Monika: Yes. We are. But now that I hear Yuri's side of the story after Cuphead and Sans warned us, we need to be careful and keep as much distance from Bendy as possible. If it's true he has no memory of us and one of us is in absolute trouble, I'll have to step in to stop him with my powers.
[The Literature Club then finally had a game plan to survive this training/unintentional killer spree from Bendy. Just when they were about to find him, the atmosphere started to drip with ink all over the surfaces and a loud heartbeat was heard.]
Natsuki: What the hell was that…?
Yuri: I-It's him. [She was shaking in fear]
Bendy: [Walking menacingly, looking aroubd with bloodlust in his mind] The dark puddles hungers for fresh…. pure… morsels to feast upon… [He slowly then spots the literature club]
Sayori: H-H-H-He sees us!!!
Bendy: [Growled angrily] Victims of the outside realm… The ink swells and boils for consumption… [He got in a stance ready to run] Come… become my meal on a silver platter… and DIE…
Monika: RUN!
[Monika began sprinting off, Yuri ran after her, holding her head out of fear and freaking out, Natsuki running with her arms forward completely panicked, and Sayori running while waving her arms frantically in fear. Bendy began to chase after them through the halls.]
Monika: [She then spots four paths leading to different ways] Split up, but stay close!! Don't let Bendy catch you! [the first path she took had her swing across moving chains]
Natsuki: Agh, why are we splitting up now!? [Se rushed into one of the darker hallways]
Sayori: [Was looking back, panicking that she didn't see she was gonna fall out of a broken wall down to some stairways] AAAAHHHH!!!! [As she fell, her body then caught onto some rope that was being pulled upward] Oof!! I-I'm okay!!!
Yuri: [She was the last one who was still running the regular halls] Oh no, this is bad! We have to keep up with his speed! NOW!
Today's training started off both strangely and terrifyingly. Not only do they need to train to keep up with the speed and endurance of Nightmare Mode, but they have to survive Bendy who has no recollection of the literature club thanks to the cartoon world's endless cycle. Here's hoping the literature club's cardio can last to the very end. But until that happens all they need to do is…
…Run.
Monika said something to offend the big guy and so the girls are left to try calm him down before he destroys both the club room and the whole studio-
Story time:
After multiple draws in battle against the club members, the Demon decides that the other two were holding him back. With this in mind, he dragged three out of four of the girls into the Inky abyss that is the Machine. They had each brought out a mic believing this was a simple rap battle, but Bendy had no patience for this. Playing an old classic tune, the Demon hunted them down. The purple-haired one, once again, believed she was equal. The pink-haired one lost her temper- which would, of course, be her ultimate downfall. As for the one called Sayori, she curiously used a noose to sing from the ceiling. He used the noose for other purposes. But just as he was going to deal the final blow to the final girl… she interfered.
One day, the Demon will slaughter her.
It will be like killing a God.
Bloody and glorious.
Monika's blood will stain the halls. No matter the cost.
It's been a while, since i've heard of this song… absolute banger!
I like how both yuri and natsuki aren’t afraid, but sayori is terrified 😆
