I got a hold of Sony, you can send it back. They are all under a 1 year warranty. Only problem is you have to send it in first and wait 7-10 for the new one. I only have one controller so it’s really not convenient for some of us.

My left stick drifts , sony rep walked me through the steps to reset database on ps5 ( which didnt fix problem) . Then went on to inform me that engineers are aware of drifting issue & will hopefully have a fix soon. Wouldnt replace just told me to be patient for a controller update

got my ps5 on 12/22. 12/26 it started showing drift issues. I am really thinking about just refunding and buying a PC instead of sending for warranty. Cause if one controller stopped working properly on 4 days and I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the same issue, what can I expect from a new one? LoL totally disappointed I think PS5 might not be worth it at all.
