An Update to the Cassette Girl, aka Lex Updog situation involving her experience with DonDRRR, and SuperMega’s creators, Matt and Ryan. Multiple apologies and perspectives have come out, including Leighton’s Twitch livestream, Morgpie’s livestream, Jim’s apology, an update to DonDRRR’s perspective on Twitter, and most recently Matt and Ryan’s response. We also cover what happened to Cassette Girl within Friday Night Funkin’ in the last video, as well as if this update changes anything. But of course, the attention should be focused onto supporting Lex Updog, as the victim of assault.

On July 27th 2023, Lex Updog posted a video titled, “My Experience With DonDRRR and SuperMega”. She details her traumatic story of assault from Don, and her relationship with SuperMega’s creators, Matt Watson and Ryan Magee. Following her video, other individuals have come forward such as Leighton, an ex-employee of SuperMega, and Morgpie, who specifically addressed her and Matt’s relationship. Furthermore, Jim from SuperMega also posted an apology, and DonDRRR updated his perspective on Twitter. After these videos were posted, Matt and Ryan released their apologies titled “My Response – Matt” and “My Response – Ryan”. We cover those videos, as they address everyone involved, and includes the most recent information regarding the overarching situation. It’s important to continue supporting Lex as the victim of assault, as the situation has ultimately grown tangled with many individuals involved.

We also briefly cover the impacts on Cassette Girl, the character. In my previous video, I mention how she was banned from FNF GameBanana mods, and was planned to originally appear in the full FNF game. Following this news, the character is in a controversial state. As of now, it’s not worth it to spend energy on speculating about Cassette Girl’s ultimate fate, as many people’s lives have been impacted and hurt from the situation. Don has claimed that Cassette Girl was not inspired upon Lex in his update post, however, regardless of how Cassette Girl was created, we need to focus that attention on supporting Lex as a human.

  5. The fact some of you guys are more worried about a fictional character than the victim shows how much of a piece of sh*t you alll can be.

    It's really a shame to see.

    Sure, Cassette Girl is a "Good" character back then, but she was created over a victim.

    Lex herself confirmed it was created as her.

    "Separate the art from the artist"

    Easy talk than do.

  6. Man, it's quite surprising to hear back from others involved in this situation, and their experience regarding it.

    All I will say is that Lex will really need the support she needs from her situation, and wish best of luck to her.

  11. Disgusted to see this being called the "Cassette Girl situation" when it has next to nothing to do with that character. There was a mention at one point that Don based Cassette Girl off of Lex (a claim that he recently refuted) but beyond that this situation has nothing to do with FNF.

I finally deleted all CG videos, art pictures, and fanfic stories, so I am ready to move on and try something else by drawing something else and needing my friends to talk to in order to focus on my health after learning CG is based on a victim Softdon had sexually assaulted. I was so stupid because of after six months for CG being my favorite character before it happens, February to July.

    I was naive and dump while being blind of the truth. If Cassette Girl didn't became my favorite character and Softdon for sexuailty assaulting Lex before creating Cassette Girl, none of this wouid have happen.

    We need all of us to focus on Lex. I wish Lex good luck and hope she'll get better.

  13. I will come out and say Lex is overblowing it. Everyone is acting like Don is this evil sexual predator with no proof at all and without looking at Lex's story critically in anyway. Lex has shown no proof Don has done anything malicious or evil after Creator Clash.
    And as for the SA allegations, which are still allegations by the way, it is obviously all centered around Leighton being fired.

    Lex was proven by both Matt and Ryan that, until Leighton was fired, Lex was cordial with them and lived rent free at their office for months. But according to Lex, they were 'kicked out' for no reason and 'had no money' when Lex bought a jeep.
    So why can't she be lying about Don?

    As for Don? What sounds more believable after everything came out.
    Lex's version of events with Don forcing Lex to give him oral and roughly pushing her head down where Lex fought him off, or Don's version of where he asked for oral a second time in the day after being rejected once and did a single push down, where Lex immediately stopped and said no in which Don apologized multiple times? No one is saying what Don did isn't an asshole move but SA? It honestly sounds like a bad sexual experience that pushed a boundary.

    The issue is everyone is still believing Lex's side of the SA allegations when Matt and Ryan out right disproved her claims about SuperMega. So why should anyone believe her about her SA allegation?
    Lex obviously had an agenda in order to let Leighton ruin SuperMega, otherwise she would not be celebrating SuperMega losing subs and most likely shutdown.

    And a final part, no one knows if CG is ever based on Lex. In Lex's version she was based off Don's drawing of Lex, while Don says she was based on a SoundCloud song before they were offically dating. And If I'm being honest, Lex is not reliable.

    By cancelling cassette girl doesn’t made situation any better. Since the two are not the same.

    What we should care is to give support to the victim Lex. No one deserves SA. Thanks a lot for other SuperMega that help and support her.

  33. I Hope Lex is okay But i swear most of this is too crazy and rather at this point just disappointing it’s not that hard just don’t be a fucked up person and boom your not being exposed and you didn’t do any crimes
