A plan generations in the making is hatched, as a Genestealer Cult uprising sets the sector ablaze. The guard are dispatched, in turn to set the heretics ablaze with their newly christened Malcador Infernus!
Brian is super excited to put his new Malcador Infernus on the table! Meanwhile, Adrian is breaking out the aberrants who have not seen play for a long time!

Heads-up: GSC can’t benefit from tyranid strats and psychic powers, even if you take a separate tyranid detachment, which is lame. It’s in the Nid FAQ. I got excited about the same stuff when considering taking zoanthropes in a ridgerunner/acolyte Bladed Cog build to get 2 5+++ spells and stuff. Just a heads up as Adrian said he wanted to try it soon.
1:39:30 definately disagree that encarmine swords are Always better if your local scene is all custodes , death guard gravis and harlequins in transports you want that Strength 6 .
I gauge the passage of time from the growing fluffiness of Brian's lush beard
Fight to the death is a clutch strat for early game morale rolls you think matter.
This Like was earned by the Imperial Gourd.
The Taurox prime was able to get out at that entaglment ? I thought you couldn't cause there aren't any gaps or spaces to hae the Taurox move 39:58
Regarding the 6 plasma inceptors and being targeted by blast, can’t you pretty much just bank on at least one of the models overcharging. Even with reroll 1s, the odds are pretty good. If one somehow doesn’t die, then you’re probably suffering the same against a blast weapon later as you would have if you lost one to overcharge and then got shot without the blast benefit. So, might as well take the extra shots
This was hard to watch, lol. Poor Adrian always gets the bad armies
I never really see repair teleport homers taken for secondaries. This should should quite easily be achievable from 3 turns with the right units and enemy. Is there a reason why it isn't taken?
5CP (progressive) for an action inside the enemy deployment zone.
I've never pressed the fast forward button as much as I do with these videos
I'm a fellow Imperial Guard flame. Junkie, so have my like.
I've had the Malcador Infernus on my shelve for ages and it was so bad for 8th. I guess I now have to try and bring it back. If only it was like 16 wounds to profit from obscuring
aberrants with picks have 4 attacks.
Talking about the GW App (Money) and comparing to Battle Scribe ("Free"), you should also check out the Malifaux App as an example of what GW could have done.
Has all the Models for all Factions on it. Has the rules included. The ability to create Lists. And updated when there are Errata's made.
All for Free.
Now I think if GW did not want to give you everything for Free, they could have at least made you buy the Codex, and unlock your list with the Code in the back. But give you the Rules, and List Building (for what you have unlocked) for free. Why do you need a monthly Subscription is beyond me.
Brian’s movement phase always looks so sus definitely wouldn’t want to play against him
Why does brian seem to push wysiwyg so hard sometimes? I've never met anyone, tournament or casual, who had a problem with 'hey, this squad is armed like [x], the guy with a melee weapon has [y]' aside from two people that turned out to be the kind of person you never want to play against anyways.
As long as you're consistent and give your opponent a heads up, I heavily favor modelling things to look cool. Use the axes and fists as swords if you want and the whole unit is armed the same, the game is pretty abstract anyways.
There is LITERALLY no point playing GSC on a competitive level at this stage, barely for fun.
They get wrecked constantly, they desperately need a new Codex, and rules fixes.
They're on the same level with Knights, the rules just don't support them anymore.
Only a two-hour game, compared to the usual 3-4 hour ones on the channel.
MORTAR COMBAT! music
Doesn't the Wyvern get just 4d6 shots (minimum 6)? Following the wording of the blast rule and the fact, that this is ONE weapon with 4d6 shots (Not 4 mortars with 1d6 each), Wyverns should Not fire auto-24. Am I wrong?
You get the same number of attacks with the rending claw as you do with the power pick. Still not worth taking though.
Edit: oh dang I don’t know how I got that wrong. I could have sworn it said you got as many attacks as you had pick attacks. Sorry y’all
On the breakfast topic and food in general, canadians and Americans you have all of it wrong. Period.
Anyone else get a lot of stutter on this video?
I have a rule question that i can't find a viable answer to and maybe somebody here can answer it.
when my custode banana cptn (2+sv) is inside light cover (+1 to sv) and someone shoots me with a -1ap weapon. do i get to roll on 2s because i have +1 from light cover or on 3s because you cant overstack sv to 1 and i ignore the +1 from light cover.
Surely wrap and trap is the way to go with all GSC melee hammers. That's how they worked in 8th. And when the enemy wants to pull out of combat with a strategem, do Generations in the making.
