This story will have a hard time convincing me it didn't peak at the soul bf arc. That was the story's three-quarter personal climax, the gf rescue was the emotional climax while the whole pico-tankman bit was the physical climax and then all that was left was curing everyone on the way to beating the final big bad.
You're trying to build up to another climax. But it just looks like faffing about on a plotline that I don't care about. And the overt anime bs is definitely not doing my enjoyment any favors. Maybe once it's all tied up I'll be eating my words. But for that, it'd need to be tied up instead of just going on and on and getting more and more bloated with meaningless shit.
Looking forward for the next vs Null (senpai) and the Gf vs MM week!

Just sort of occurred to me now. Since this whole corruption thing is taking place as part of Week 5, wouldn't Boyfriend have no clue who Senpai is?
