I get asked quite often why I do not use rip in PVP. Here is quick vid showing the sad state of Feral’s main bleed finishir rip. rip RIP. I show quickly after for how much Ferocious bites hits in comparison. While I do enjoy the current burst with Ferocious bite I would like it if Blizzard could give us the option to either go bleed or bite focused. I am ilvl 130.

feral is more of a big bite spec now a days which is not that bad but yea them bleed numbers kinda suck

Wouldn’t you compare it to a 1cp bite? Most folks only rip on 1cp and then extend duration with bite. If looking at it from only a 1cp investment it’s not terrible to mix into rotation since damage doesn’t scale with CP.
I feel it’s the same for sub rogue too. I know they don’t specialize in dot damage like assassination and others, but their rupture is just so lackluster. Makes me wonder why it’s even in their kit anymore. Hope they balance dot damage from most melee specs and have it make a little bit more sense than to do 470 as a CRIT like you just shown.
In mop feral was a killer with bleed dmg

I think it will get better with legendaries and covenent abilities. Also play blood talon to really show a bleed spec. I have to agree though, in bfa, its shit right now

They can't buff RIP. If they do then feral's AE DPS goes through the roof. Applying RIP to EVERY mob in range. For that reason, Blizzard had to tone it down a lot.
@FeralBG's : 130ilvl, how much do you have on your stats? You also activated the TigerFury for the Bite. Then must not forget that it is in PrePatch.
This is stupid, classes like feral that are based on bleed damage does no damage compare to a class like warrior with a PASSIVE bleed which was their most damage in bfa or like cold steel azerite trait on fury, i literally named my warrior bleedmaster and my feral fat biter,
