What happened to the Noble/Loyal Shard of Magnus? | Warhammer 40k Lore

The potential for traitor primarchs to be redeemed always interests me, maybe this is how Magnus returns to the Emperor’s light

  1. Sir, I have come to inform you Archwarhammer was hacked and his channel is deleted. I’ll be returning the regiments To HQ for further orders, one foe is down and the others will soon be passed.

Gives a Strong salute as the rest of the men behind him click they’re lasguns by they’re heels

  2. Magnus and the thousand sons didn't know about the evils of the warp and the big E refused share any information about chaos or it's gods with Magnus. Not only this but the Big E never told Magnus about the webway project leaving his warning pretty hollow when compared with those of the other Primarchs.
Everything that was hated about the thousand sons during the great crusade is now accepted, practiced and shared among all loyalist chapters.

  3. Magnus fell for the smurfs to rise, no other reason. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. We need someone to fight for the imperium right now and magnus would be ideal.
Papa smurf threw in the towel . He got rogue traders looking for new worlds. He 'll take his boys , his pointy eared GF and do a runner on us.
I'm calling it right now. Guiliman will do a runner out of desperation. He 'll try to save a part of humanity, with him in charge in perpetuity, like he always wanted.
Never had the guts for a stand up fight.

  4. Majorkill I was watching your top 5 w40k theories and noticed that in your Sanguinius kills Horus theory, you forgot about Ollanius Pius.
The theory also says that after killing Horus, Sanguinius fights eveone on the ship, Emps tries to calm him down, fails but is unable to kill our glorios HawkBoy who beasts him, almost killing him, then Ollanius Pius jumps in, Sanguinius drinks all of his blood, killing him, succubing to both black rage and the red thirst, becoming a red beast Khorn could easly corrupt/took to his side.
Seeing all this, his wonderful Angle drinking blood of this poor simple man like a overgrown bat, hissing and slurpping, Big E knows what he must to. As a sight of mercy, and to make sure Blood God does not have the Red Angle and Blood Angel on his side in the future, Emperor kills Sanguinuis, Ka Me Ha Me style, and makes Dorn swear to never tell about this to anyone, hence Dorn takes a Vow of Silence, fakes his death during Black Crusade, and roleplay as Terminator in the Imperial Palace, until Emperor can speak again, and all his brothers are returning home, in one way or another, for the final family reunion.

  5. Fun fact, the noble shard of Magnus was stolen from the Grey Knights by the Alpha legionaires who moonlight as servers and masseuses at the Gay bar at the bottom of the Rock, in an epic grim dark shoplifting heist. And is now used by Cypher (pronounced in epic whisper) as a butt plug for his deep tissue massages.

  6. They need to find Malcharion 'The Uncorruptable'. A night lords dreadnought, hire him, and figure out what makes a traitor immune to the Dark Gods for so long and ask some really difficult questions like are there loyalist "traitors" worthy of being taken in??

  7. There's the book pandorax where you meet a founding grey knight named epimetheus. That's the name he told the people to call him but in it warp spawn are like you shouldn't be here and draigo in the book is like who's this over powered mystery man. My theory is that's actually janus that he swapped places with the real epimetheus since only he could handle the return of a great unclean one. To bad abbadon got him and he's now fused with a blank

  8. Im probably horrible, as an outsiders perspectives what tf are koalas good for? Im not trying to start shit, but genuinely seems like evolution has tried to mass kill these fuckers for YEARS. They've developed koala clap, literally eat their parents shit and mucus, they also eat a plant that is poisonous to everything but them. Its fucked that they go out of their way to kill them, but god damn they seem so useless.

  9. Magnus mistake was not simply travelling to terra via his fleet to warn.
Emperor mistake was sending Russ to arrest Magnus
Russ Mistake was listening to a bald guy and having a "special relationship" with his dogs.

  10. Question
Why do you sound like Tiffany? I thought people talked like that as a joke and now I'm actually confused.
"Hence Magnus and his remaining sons was teleported to the eye of *Terooaar*"

  11. Since it wasn’t mentioned, I’ll bring it up here: the “Noble” shard of Magnus isn’t inherently noble. In the latest Siege of Terra novel, it is revealed that Magnus sensed the shard of himself on Terra and tried to sneak into the palace and take it back. He is discovered quickly by Malcador who informs that while the shard Magnus seeks may contain more memories of his nobility and compassion, it is no more inherently good or evil than any of the other shards. This severely upset Magnus, who realized that all the bad things he done up to that point he had done of his own accord.

I personally like this change, as it adds to Magnus’s tragedy and explains his current behavior. This knowledge broke him. What was left of his sanity and sense of self-worth were destroyed and he was left thinking that he had no redeeming qualities and that Chaos was the only thing that gave his life purpose
