  1. Jesus, the DnD ruleset was even worse in a video game than I remembered. Why do dumbass devs continue to bang their head into the wall that is pen and paper rules?

  2. -i am enjoying the playthrough, but i do have to continuously jump back to have time to read what the game dialogue is since it's hard to hear it when you talk during it, & also to check to see what you selected since you don't often say what you're picking before you click it… luckily i've played the game, so i can manage to follow most of the story despite that, but for people seeing this for the first time, the talking over dialogue & not reading what you're choosing probably makes it very difficult for them to follow the actual story, which is the best part of the game after all

-& like someone else said in the comments i saw, there is a timer for the twitch voting, it ends when the red circle fills up, & letting it go til the timer runs out might take more time, but it would give more people a chance to affect the outcome

-& lol yes astarion does remind me of tom ellis' lucifer now that you mentioned it, astarion's also got quite a hint of dr frank from rocky horror… no wonder i adore him so!

-i'm now a little over an hour in, & even after seeing & playing multiple times, this is the 1st time i've ever seen all the people dead in the druid grove..wth? the fact that i'm still seeing a completely different story unfold after a dozen playthroughs, & this is only early access? that bodes really, really well for the replayability of the final game!
& i don't think it was killing kagha that triggered the mass slaughter, i've seen another playthrough where she was killed & the druids & tieflings were all fine & they even thanked/rewarded the player. it couldn't have been the tieflings or the druids though, all of the people in both of those groups were dead. i'm guessing that it had to have been the goblins, maybe the attack on the druid grove that you find out about from the goblins actually does happen on a set day of the story, & if you long rest enough times before stopping the goblin leaders, it goes ahead on its own? that's my best guess anyway. which is very cool, that means that days pass & things still happen even if the player doesn't know about those things yet, which is very very cool… this would mean that there is a time factor to consider, which is very, very, very cool IMO
