New Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Just made the game Worse…

In todays video I go over the recent 1.1 patch which has caused frustration within in the community due to new bugs caused by the patch itself. Ironic as it is.

This is an extension of my last couple of videos where I talk about cut content within the game such as cut train stations and cut police mechanics like being arrested. Feel free to check out my past videos that cover cut quests, story missions, gadgets like the flathead, Meredith Stout alternate quests, choices being changed, different actions for Jackie, changes to the story, Keanu Reeves playing a bigger part as Johnny Silverhand, and much more.

  1. Alright, so I'm the absolute last person who would ever defend Cyberpunk after being a base Xbox One player. But, this patch did fix a bug that made story progression impossible for me, and from what I'm seeing, a ton of other people as well. So while yes; this patch isn't going to fix 'gameplay shortcomings' or add new features into the game, it is addressing some pretty big issues and that is a good start.

That the patch re-breaks the game in new ways is pretty ass, but it's pretty par for the course after all this bullshit.

  2. There are a few things I noticed after I installed the patch (I'm playing on a high-end PC):

-There are cheesy street signs added in now, that stick out like sore thumbs (I honestly can't remember if these were always there in game)
-NPC's now run across the street when crossing at lights.
-And my game now hard crashed to desktop, after over 90 hours of playing with no crashes.

The game still has no real advanced AI or scripting, the game's NPC's and police are still stuck in pre-2000 era gaming. GTA San Andreas has more advanced NPC AI and scripting. And every open-world game from GTA 4, to Saints Row, to Skyrim are all leagues ahead of this game in terms of scripting and AI in an open world.

The game world is still a barren, static, empty place. It looks pretty, but is devoid of any true open-world "sandbox" immersion. The best way to play this game is on the easiest setting, and just blow-through the main missions. Trying to tinker and level up and do certain builds is a waste of time.

  3. Theres no finding your favorite clothes with max mod slots anymore. They made it so, when you find clothes in purple or legendary but only one mod slot, it wont do anything if you reload the game. The same piece of clothe will be there…. Very sad indeed.

  5. Adam Badowski just needs to go. Either he resigns, takes a big demotion or he gets fired – so much wasted talent, the lies and all this failure stem from his poor leadership.

  6. Fact is we can bail on CDPR and yell boo but fact is if this company and this project is not supported it will lead to two thing: 1) More soulless grind games as no company will take a leap like CDPR for fear of this and 2) Not seeing Pondsmiths Cyberpunk alive in video game and a potential "Witcher 3" equivilent sequel to this game. I really want to see them approach this again oneday after lessons learnt.

  7. I still think cyberpunk 2077 is cool and interesting.. I always love futuristic games, so this game never gets boring for me.. dam I wish the world would look like that by 2077 besides the cars lol..

  8. I play on PC and I was enjoying the game. Yes there were some annoying bugs for me, but one mission for me keeps crashing my game. And now with this new patch. I am having dialog issues, button mapping is messed up, more visual glitches than before. I dont know man, I think your right. CDPR already has their money they broke records, but now I dont think they even care. Its truly disappointing. I didn't even want a refund. I think now im starting to think I might.
    Shame….Shame….Shame….
