Amazing New Factory Game! Dyson Sphere Program Gameplay Series EP1 Season 1

The Dyson Sphere Program Game is a new factory sim much like Factorio or Satisfactory, but with one big twist. The scale of this game is on a whole different level as it allows you to travel between planets and solar systems. In this game, your ultimate goal is to harness the power of the sun by building a machine called a Dyson Sphere. To do this you will need to build a massive factory that consumes resources from nearby planets and beyond. Completing the Dyson Sphere Program is no small task. I like to think of it as a journey of 100,000 clicks! In the gameplay series, I will take you on my journey through my Dyson Sphere Program where I tried to make the coolest looking base possible while quite literally trying to bring the entire galaxy to me to feed my one massive factory.

The game, Dyson Sphere Program is available on Steam and is currently at the time of this recording in early access.

  1. Coming for the glowing sun-shells constructed by shining rockets and gorgeous streams of luminous sails strung like pearl-beads across the heavens.

Staying for the gasps and groans over supply shortages, resource overflows, load balancing, and spaghetti sweat.

  2. Since you were looking for opinions, I will say right off the bat that it's nice to see the basics of the game being skipped, especially because you are unfortunately in the later group of youtubers to pick up the game. While it's not necessarily bad to see how the initial set up of a game works, it's undeniably slow and rather simple in most automation based games. That being said, it may be interesting to have more walkthrough of how certain factory set ups work as they get more complex – perhaps checkpoints during construction, where you explain a phase of production for the viewer could be used?

  3. very nice to see you playing this game. I hope you really like it and it gets its own series on your channel. Your style and excitement lend well to this game for a let's play and it's something in addition to ONI for your subs to watch. I think diversification on your channel, but within the same themes as ONI would push you back to where you were before the hack, maybe even higher. Fingers crossed. Best of luck.

  4. GG. The world gird shifts north-south. It doesn't east-west.

Note that the INTRAplantary system send material about but on only same world. The INTERplanetary system sends them from planet to planet. Don't confuse the two.

  5. YES i was wondering when you would pick this one up! I started playing it like a week ago and havent been able to stop its addicting as all hell i think im over 70 hours already. Enjoy it, its ridiculous how far the rabbit hole goes and its early access. really excited to see where this one goes by the time it makes release state! also dont know if you have noticed yet but splitters work as mergers as well so put two inputs in and one out and it will merge the two lines

  6. I hope you enjoy this game as well. Been watching Francis play this, but I'm looking forward to your more chaotic style. Also, how many hours did it take to get to where you were at? I've put several hours in and still haven't explored other planets.

  7. 15:22 you can hold down and delete all you like, it will only delete the belt that you begin with, to the next end in one direction. no buildings no other belts nothing, als long as you hold down the mouse button 😉
and the devs are working on QOL solutions for such things.
oh and you can stack buildings… most of them, try out 😉
