Baldur’s Gate 3 Guide – Defiled Temple Moon Puzzle Solution. This is needed to unlock the Underdark and do the “Find the Nightsong” quest.
Completing the defiled temple’s moon puzzle allows you to unlock the Underdark, which is as far as I know, The only way to access it in the game’s current state. I am sure other ways will open up as the development progresses and other areas are opened to explore. But this is where we are at.
Once you have the Underdark unlocked you will be able to pursue the “Find the Nightsong” quest which I believe wraps up the early access release in the current state.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of a good mix of tactical combat and puzzles. And nearly everything you do, has alteast one other possible solution. It really is amazing to me how many things I learn on a regular basis for this game.
