Baldurs Gate 3 is set in the universe of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power. Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil. From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. 1. This entire games story is children dieing ESO: 'i could've done something to save the child..but I wanted to see -what would happen-…' we all know he just wants to see the kids die. Danny is one step from serial child murderer haha

  2. Honestly to many die rolls in place of choices. Like when they kill the tieflings girl making an attempt to stop it with words is cool but then if she says no there choice when you fail to try something else or attack. That is just an example of one thing that annoys me. (Nice game though still)

  3. When it comes to these fort battles in game, best thing is to take their superior defense from them – send one char in, then run out to your group that has the high ground, and fight there.
They will more or less come one or two at the time depending on how far they have to run to get there. They even summon reinforcements = more exp and loot.

  4. OH MY GOODNESS IT's VOLO!
There are 2 reasons I recognize Volo only 1 of which is common for players of DnD.
1: Neverwinter Nights 2 Storm of Zehir expansion: Volo narrates the prologue and is a quirky side character obsessed with writing stories about everything and is proficient in goblin.. or at least he likes to think so. lol
2: Volo's Guide to Monster's: The writer (not literally). Very entertaining part about DnD is from the beginning the manuals despite being informative about the nature of the game are written and illustrated in such a way that you feel like you're reading one of the many books in a fantasy world.

  5. that moment when the guy has the antidote right in front of him (the very reason hes pickpocketing the "healer") to then just get the trinket and kill her afterwards….oh god LOL

  6. You seem to have the wrong end of the stick, the +3 on the armour isn’t the armour it’s your bonus for your dexterity. Also, it’s nice to see Danny making friends wherever he goes………..not.

  7. First was Baldur's Gate.
    Second was the sequel.
Third was D&D, Third Edition. Then 3.5.
Fourth was Fourth Edition, it wasn't well recieved.
Then came Five E, with all its Advantage.
And now, come from the second, comes the third.
    Badlur's Gate, the Third.
In the ruins of demons and devils,
In the wake of the psychic's attack,
In the rubble of the first…

…And I still can't play it yet, without a graphics card.

    Shit.

  8. DISCLAIMER: WIZARDS OF THE COAST DOES NOT VOUCH FOR, GUARANTEE, OR PROVIDE ANY PROMISE REGARDING THE VALIDITY OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THIS VOLUME BY VOLOTHAMP GEDDARM. DO NOT TRUST VOLO. DO NOT GO ON QUESTS OFFERED BY VOLO. DO NOT LISTEN TO VOLO. AVOID BEING SEEN WITH HIM FOR RISK OF GUILT BY ASSOCIATION. IF VOLO APPEARS IN YOUR CAMPAIGN, YOUR DM IS UNDOUBTEDLY TRYING TO KILL YOUR CHARACTER IN A MANNER THAT CAN BE BLAMED ON YOUR OWN ACTIONS. THE DM IS PROBABLY TRYING TO DO THAT ANYWAY, BUT WITH VOLO’S APPEARANCE, YOU KNOW FOR SURE. WE’RE NOT CONVINCED THAT ELMINSTER’S COMMENTARY IS ALL THAT TRUSTWORTHY EITHER, BUT HE TURNED US INTO FLUMPHS THE LAST TIME WE MENTIONED HIM IN ONE OF THESE DISCLAIMERS.

  9. Szass Tam is a lich, a former leader of the Red Wizards of Thay. The necromancer is or rather was one of the most lethal opponents of Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun and the Old Sage Elminster himself.

  10. I played Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 (Dark Alliance) on the ps2 with my brother when we were kids/teens. It was really fun. Played the original ones on PC as well. I'm excited to play the 3rd one, it looks really good!

  11. When I failed the checks to crush the parasite, as soon as the cut sceen ended, I hit the spacebar to go into combat rounds, and targeted the slug as it ran away with an Eldritch Blast. Killed it before it got away. You don't actually have to kill it during the cut scene. Same for the Mind Flayer under the rubble earlier. Just shoot from a distance and they can't mentally influence you.
