Canuck news: is the Canucks blue line finally finding its game (Hughes, Schmidt, Myers)?

It’s taken 18 games, but it looks like the Canucks have finally figured things out on their blue line…and in turn have established an identity as a team.

In last night’s win, Nate Schmidt, Alex Edler, and Tyler Myers played the bigger minutes, whereas Quinn Hughes played only 17 minutes. And that’s not a bad thing.

My phone cut me off while I was recording, hence the abrupt ending haha.

  1. "DANCING THRU THE FIRE(FLAMES) It is called "Katy Perry – Roar (Radio 1's Big Weekend 2017)YouTube" except it's 2021 HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA.

Pre- game guys going in in casual work clothes because they they finally EMBRACED: IT A HARD NUCKS LIFE. ……..DEMKO performing the BRUSHING OFF THE DUST which coincidentally a part of the lyrics of Katy Perry's "ROAR" song and they did "ROAR", would you AGREE Clay? or Am I just dreaming it? DEJA VU?
Remember, It's the YEAR OF THE OX which sounded like NUCKS. In the WORLD in REALITY ……..IT'S A HARD OX LIFE ….due to the effect of the CORONA VIRUS aka COVID-19 and the world needs to ROAR to overcome THE HARD OX LIFE just like what must be with the Vancouver CANOX or vice versa.

  2. it makes almost no difference its a team defence strategy that makes the difference We have actually started playing more as a team instead of a bunch of individuals. It makes almost no difference guys in and out of the lineup other then hughes there are no superstars some good average players with average talent.

  4. I still think Tyler Myers ain't a fit for the #Canucks! His clearing attempts are way to soft and it seems like he clears it right to a player on the opposite team for a turnover that most of the time turns in to a goal against! We have to many offensive defenseman in our d core! We need more stay at home defenseman! #GMJB was supposed to get another shot blocking defenseman to help Tanev! Not get rid of Tanev! I still want to see Jim gone!

  5. Edler looked like the Edler of old that game, throwing his weight around, getting under the opponents' skin, getting shots through from the point. Loved his game. Juolevi, Myers, and Hughes also had a great game. Canucks D-zone was practically impenetrable. More of this please! (:
