  1. As you've probably seen, you can get upgraded versions of quickhacks. The Legendary (orange) versions also have passive benefits while equipped. The one for Ping is especially useful, as it lets you mark and hack targets through walls.

  2. Garry the Prophet, the guy shouting conspiracies in front of Misty's shop, gives you a quest if you listen to his theories a few times. I donated some money to him but I don't know if that is required to unlock the quest. And 34:34 Johnny Silverhand's real name is Robert John Linder. That's his memorial.

  3. Solo is one of the classes in the tabletop Cyberpunk 2020 just like rockerboy is another class. Think of solos as mercenaries and your V is a solo too doing jobs for fixers.

  4. Later on on the outskirts you'll find a shop that sells a legendary pistol called liberty thats really good for stealth if you're gonna got that playstyle, you can find epic variants of it as well just randomly but its always been a really reliable pistol for me

  5. Find a car you like driving and then do all the Delamain quests at once. I like the Javelina for it, tough and fast. They're a fun diversion then and not a constant distraction

  6. Iconic weapons always have an extra benefit compared to standard weapons of the same type — for example Dying Night gives extra damage on a headshot — but they still might not be as good as a standard weapon of higher quality.

Still, in my own experience a weapon with higher DPS isn't necessarily better, depending on your playstyle: factors like magazine size, reloading speed, recoil, etc can make a difference too, as can the difference between smart, power and tech weapons (shooting enemies through solid walls FTW!)

  7. now the inscriptions in the columbarium harbor a lot of easter eggs… fictional people, but also very real people πŸ˜‰ I think the colimbarium shows how much of an afterthought death is. people are not getting buried, a concrete steele with some few lines has to do. Jackie also mentioned that the afterlife was a morgue before becoming a club and back in the days "proper burials" were still a thing. Great environmental storytelling to picture a more dehumanized future. We see these things already in our times (i.e. churches being remodelled into other stuff), but also other types of fiction, i.e. really big crematories in Brave New World to even harvest resources from people in their death. yep, even in the future people make a buck from your corpse! Capitalism stops at nothing. I mean you also got gun vending machines and so on. Take that together with the overly sexualized ads and it is as if the city seems to take death totally out of the picture when in fact it is very real. Not so much for the folk in North Oak or people who can afford Arasaka tech, but those living in the slums and suburbs and fight tooth and claw every day.

great you checked up on Barry. I forgot after checking out the Columbarium and he killed himself. Bit me in the ass later because I didn't want to reload about 40 hours worth of gameplay to save him, but was a real downer.

  8. Upgrading usually isn't worth it, and crafting is pretty much optional, but can be useful for a couple things like quickhacks. Most of the time you'll get better weapons and clothes from loot than what you can craft or buy.
Armor wise, you don't have to wear that helmet if you don't want to. If you can find a couple pieces of clothing you like, with a mod slot, you can either craft or buy (from a clothes shop) a couple good armor mods and put them in, that will be more than enough.

  9. NUSA stands for β€œNew United States of America.” Basically, there was a unification war that happened a few years before the game took place, and it’s like a whole new country made β€œfrom the ashes” of the old one.
