  1. Sure its bad what CDPR did but its interesting how other companies like EA, Activision, Bethesda and so on released some of the much worse products if you really look at it and yet none of them faced any lawsuits. I guess its easier to go after a smaller studio than the big fishes out there

  2. Yeah but they offered refunds. Court wont award anything. That is adequate in any breach of contract case unless you can prove that consumer reliance caused damages beyond the $60. Prosecuting attorney are just chasing a pot of gold. CDPR are actually in the right here legally.

  3. You said “Wouldn’t you rather have [a working cyberpunk]” when discussing the fact that CDPR offered refunds. You are not entitled to a Cyberpunk that plays the way you want it to. You did have SOME entitlement… that is until refunds were offered. Now that refunds have been offered you most definitely are entitled to nothing.

  4. I too took vigorous action to protect myself against cyberpunk… by not buying it. Sure, I just rolled that hooker I got with the $60 I saved up in a carpet and threw it in a river, but at least she “worked”.

  5. There’s also a class action lawsuit in the works from Polish investors who claim they were mislead as to where the game stood, what it could do, how it played and how it was valued.

How do you say “bankruptcy” in Polish?

  6. Adam Kaciński gonna appear in court and say,”Cyverpunk 2077 ran surprisingly well on PS4 and Xbox One.”

I guess the game launching and being able to go past the start screen surprised him.

  7. Sony taking the game off there store was just a retaliation, and a stupid one at that. The 5 million copies sold after people knew about the game tells all. I hope we get o see the refund number, because I bet it's less the 250,000 and probably mostly Sony versions, because it plays the worst on all the Sony consoles.

  8. No, we still trust them 100%. They’re doing great with patches and DLC, only the lawsuit can stop them and damage the experience, the game and the whole company. It will be a lesson for game industry but in expense of a great company and a great game.

well…theyre not going to have to pay.these things never actually pay out…how many of these "lawsuits" have we had over the years?
i blame gamers…destiny did it first…people didnt complain enough…you say its ok they will do it.
this is how it is now:they ship out almost finished games, because gamers cant wait, and stockholders cant wait…
p.s. im still waiting on my aliens colonial marine money…
whatever…i finished the game broken, finished it again almost stable, and now im working on a lesbian ply.
im getting my 90$ worth .
no refubds after 200 hours +

  10. Why didn’t the big reviewers refuse to review the game? In other media such as movies can you imagine the response if a company such as Disney bought out a film but only allowed reviewers to watch an uhd version and refused access to hd, 3D and standard there would be a lot of pushback
