  1. Is that Final Fantasy music? I feel like it is from either XV or VII Remake? I absolutely love it. I wish it wasn't such a massive performance hit, but man I think raytracing is absolutely fantastic looking. Game immersion instantly goes up a huge amount when I use it.

  2. I personally think that Shadows and especially rtx one dont make much difference in image quality. Its all about proper tesselation, textures and global+local illumination that makes game looks beautiful. Cyberpunk offers it all but i disabled shadows in rtx and made them on medium settings and also disabled contact shadows. Game still looks very pretty but those key frames are saved.

  3. All those "raytracing" effects are possible without raytracing and the fps impact is really low. You can see really nice reflections and shadows in many older games and they look realistic too.
Those RTX reflections and shadows are just made more "fps hungry" to make people buy new cards later on.

DLSS 2.0 is a nice feature tho.

  4. Good video, but the framerate loss doesn't really worth it. When I had to look carefully to find the difference, it's really not worth the almost 50% fps loss.

Could you do please a benchmark with GTA V and San Andreas, just for fun. I'm very curious how San Andreas would perform on your machine 😀

  5. just move in the city streets and look at building windows, look at car body or car windows, they are reflect the whole environment. just look down a bit and all SSR reflection will gone but not with RT ON. ur comparisons are not good enough. u guys will see a huge different if u walk in the city not much if u just stay and again all SSR reflection will gone if u look down a bit. the game looks still awesome without RT but much better with RT ON. for me its a huge different

  6. I think ray tracing is overrated if you have good baked lighting and global illumination it goes a long way. I would just have reflections on and maybe turn shadows on outside the city since that’s where I notice the shadows the most.

  7. Honestly…I have a beefy system too: i9-10900K @ 5.2ghz/EVGA RTX FTW3 ULTRA 3090/game installed on a 1tb PCIE Samsung 980pro SSD. I play on a 1440p 165hz monitor. I turn RT off. To me the difference isn't huge because Cyberpunk already has fantastic SSR and lighting WITHOUT RT. I can take the extra 30fps over slightly more impressive lighting.

  8. Man, the only difference I see is with the reflections. I paused the images to see the lighting and shadow differences but I just don't see them. I'll be turning those off for sure in the future. Thanks for another great video.

  9. Raytracing looks more natural. I can see 4k raytracing to be the new standard for next gen gaming with rdna 3-4 or equivalent nvidia. I prefer 4k raytracing max out over 8k because the size of my screen is already confortable and anything bigger would be difficult to fit in our home.
