  1. When will "game journalists" ever realise that you can't compare every game company outside the US to the wage and work standards employed in the US?

They never will. The question was rhetorical.

  2. No one should feel bad for CDPR. They put out an unfinished game and charged 60 bucks for it. Yes they will fix it because they don't want to face lawsuits, not because they care about gamers. If they cared about gamers they wouldn't have put out the game until it was ready. When will people learn company's do not care about the consumer they only care about the money. Stop sticking up for these money grabbing companies.

  3. From Marcin's statement – “In our testing, it did not show a big part of the issues you experienced in the game.” So either QA didn't find the plethora of issues that the players did – some of which are blindingly obvious showstoppers – or they did find them and it was decided to release it anyway. Either way somebody is lying as there's not much interpretation there, especially when a QA lead was tweeting stuff like this during that testing – https://twitter.com/pjpkowski/status/1305460923008720904?lang=en and https://twitter.com/pjpkowski/status/1330239139996971010 – yet that testing "did not show a big part of the issues you experienced in the game." I'm sure the QA team really are lovely people, but if that's not apportioning blame on them I don't know what is.

  4. CDPR QA saying what was said about blaming QA was lost in translation sure grammar is a big thing can see some mistakes in shards and some quests in CP2077 and how much getting paid looks normal but it's hard to compare other country's a lot things to take into account not just conversion rate

  5. CD Projekt by far, has very good salaries. I work retail, I make minimum wage, and the national average is basically twice the minimum wage. 75% of minimum wage is a very nice salary, and MOST people in REGULAR jobs (not cushy corporate office jobs) DON'T get paid ANY overtime at all. This of course is unlawfull, but let's be real here for a second. There are hundreds of thousands of businesses, and only few companiec get worldwide media attention. Everyone knows CD Projekt, Google, Microsoft etc. Everyone knows that once you got in, you basically "made it" as far as good job and good job prospects go. Sure, you may be a small cog in the machine, but with experience usually comes promotion and many people get promoted by way of tenure – you've worked x years for the company, you will usually get to replace someone or take over a new department that gets made, based on your experience. And even when you are a small cog in the machine, believe me, it's much better to be a small cog at CD Projekt, than be a small cog at Tesco – where you get to work stressfull environment, with bosses that don't care for you, make minimum wage at half the national average, get to carry heavy loads or clean when there is no work at the cash register and basically get screamed at from both customers and managers all the time – also be financially responsible for anything you break, and / or gets stolen. I would love to be working for CD Projekt… I'd give an arm and a leg, I'd step on the corpse of my gradma to get my foot in their door.

  7. I love this game, but that’s may be a problem if my save is bugged when I finish the end that make me respawn immediately in the elevator so I have to do the end again and again 😂

  9. It's so irksome that Jason Schreier is the closest thing to an actual journalist existing in this space today because he NEVER…EVER….comes off as a remotely likable person or even someone in whom I'd like to place even a modicum of trust. Alas, since no one in this space actually knows how to write properly aside from Jason we're left with everyone and their mother dog-piling on CDPR as if they're the only company that's ever put out a game too early (Fallout 76 fans know what I'm talking about). I'd put money on the notion that most modern games journalists just sit and wait until Jason Schreier puts out a hit piece and then they plagiarize it on their own online rags to get those clicks up.

  10. Guys/Gals, you’re not going to get want was promised. They simply don’t have the experience or talent to give you what was promised. Let it go, Samurai. At least, it had a good story. I like it but I didn’t follow the hype.

  11. Ugh… so much to say… I used to work in QA

Yeah some qa did get paid 15$hr where I was
It does get outsourced to other countries for cheap labour
We didn’t get some of the benefits they listed in poland (paid holidays, health, salary)
Qa rarely gets blamed for a game being fucked (that’s usually on devs/producers)
Not everyone in qa goes to a tech college, trust me… they don’t lmao
Watching this dumpster fire of a game is sad

God in futurama “if you do your job right, no one will know you did anything at all”

  12. You know what matters for me the most? It's just not what I was promised. It's not as living as its promised. I can't sit down with "interesting characters" and go drink something, nor eat something. I just can buy stuff for my inventory… there's not the feeling I hope I was getting, and have really MEANINGFUL companions or "friends". I just can do stuff that I can do in almost every other game… and that is not what was promised.

  13. Schrier has kicked some big goals in his career over the last couple of years but look at his live vlog with Yong Yea, look at his career pre Anthem more closely. It’s pretty clear.

Form your own opinion but in my opinion he is an egotistical little man who often toots whichever tune he thinks will further his own career.

  14. Bugs and glitches happen……..my biggest problem is the game is nothing like they promised, I was expecting a living breathing world with npcs going about their daily lives rather than just being part of the environment

The masterpiece I was hoping for is just a decent FPS, I played it for about a week but got bored

  15. Combat in this game needs to be noticed like first off I feel like enemies have way too much health. Like from a shotgun close up should be a one shot kill but in this game its like 4 to probably 7 hits like wtf.

  16. My wife left me last week and I have barely been able to function, I'm a 60% disabled sailor, I'm about to lose my home and everything..that said…. here I am having withdrawals because I can't afford my medication and I need to feel better and this made my day; thank you.

because I had a feeling that this was coming and I am glad that the QA is finally standing up for themselves against if what he is saying.

  17. I love CDPR all i want is for them to continue fixing the game I think everyone has a once in while rough start when releasing a game. Look at fallout 76 that game ws BAD when it was released and now its 2021 and the game is now good i think its just a matter of time.

  18. I’m just glad the whole community is against how CDPR went about the release. Other developers would probably think that it’s okay to release a game half finished and give us the rest with time 🤦🏾‍♂️

  19. This Digital yellow journalism is destroying credibility. Jason was called out and instead of apologizing, he brushed it off and kept drilling…. very dishonest and unprofessional

  20. Honestly, it's just so disappointing and disheartening to see how poorly the release state of the game was. Especially in a time where we desperately needed a means of escapism.

  21. CD Projekt Red needs to do what Hello Games did and just be silent and work on the game. Hello Games for what 3 months didn’t say a word about what was going on until their update was almost ready to go. Actions speak louder than words and now Hello Games actions have them remembered as the group that saved their game instead of destroying it. Let’s enjoy what we got now and just hope it gets better. Especially for the employees that did work their ass off in this game.

  22. These dudes knew what they are releasing
    That's no coincidence
    That's no lack of time
You can't be that stupid to not see all those flaws the game has, especially not when you're the developer of that game wtf 🤷🏿‍♂️
