Adam Badowski, CD Projekt Red’s studio head, liked tweets on Friday criticising Sony for its decision to pull Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store. Sony announced the unexpected move on Friday, following a turbulent week for CD Projekt Red centred around criticism of Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on last-gen consoles. One message liked by the studio head called Sony’s decision “ridiculous”. “The game is playable and is actually a great game insofar as I know,” it reads. “Why not wait until they release some patches, updates, etc?” A third message liked by Badowski even criticised Marvel’s Avengers – another game which experienced a troubled launch – and asked why Sony hadn’t taken similar action against the Square Enix title. A new report on Cyberpunk 2077 developers revealed they’re just as frustrated and angry as consumers and have been voicing their displeasure, at least during one internal video meeting conducted earlier this week. Cyberpunk 2077’s launch has been a complete disaster for CD Projekt Red, as the game is riddled with bugs on console versions, something that was deliberately hidden from fans during the Cyberpunk 2077 review period thanks to careful code management from the developer that saw only PC codes – by far the most stable version of the game, though still quite buggy – be distributed for review prior to release. In this video DreamcastGuy rants about the angry state of gamers with Cyberpunk 2077 and all the bugs and glitches involved in a review style format while showing glitches and gameplay of the game on PS4 Pro and PS5 while also showing screenshots from Xbox One X and Xbox Series X.

  1. I don't hate the game. I really love it as do most of my friends. I guess we've just played through so many buggy games in the decades we've been gaming. I get the disappointment in it being buggy, but have you guys ever played Bethesda games lol? Yeah I have to save often, yeah it sucks waiting the couple minutes to wait for PS4 to report the error, but I've dealt with this for decades. Should people be mad? Sure. Should people be as mad as they are, probably not. They should have been mad a decade ago when other companies were allowing it to.become a common place thing, but it never stopped them from buying oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, fallout 4, no man sky, 76, anthem, Avengers…….

It's only a big deal with CDPR because it was so highly anticipated and Witcher 3 was amazing. But has anyone played Witcher or Witcher 2? It's not really as surprising as it's being made out to be. It's the Hype.

  2. in your video that you had to remove (because cdpr told you too) and your review you were loving it , because others have issues with the game and have kicked off youve changed your tune and now have jumped on the bandwagon.

  3. You jumped the train on this one.
What was that high score review about then??? To now calling it a piece of crap???
If you give an opinion, be strong enough to stick with it. Skyrim, fallout, GTA4 were all a broken mess but went down as some of the best games

  4. 6:25 What a coincidence. Just yesterday I commented on a video, saying something along the lines of:
"This was the fault of Adam Badowski. He was the director steering this ship and it seems like he lost focus."

  5. It's not the money we spent on the game that's the problem. It's the fact that we waited years for it to come out and anticipated that it would be something much better than this. It's that time invested as a devoted fan.

  6. I love CDPR like everybody else, but that doesn't give them a free pass to release unfinished products.
Right now I'm worried for the CP2077 multiplayer, because the optics doesn't look good for it.
I can almost bet that it's not going to be much different from Bethesda's FO76 release, with a lots of glitches and the in-game store being riddled with MTXs.
