Skippy lock itself to puppy-loving pacifist after 50 kills with Stone cold killer and as far as I know you can't change it back
You forgot to mention what happens after you kill 50 people that it locks into the opposite of the choice you picked meaning of you picked killer you'll be stuck permanently with the pacifist and I believe it's the same way if you pick passive his first connect Auto locks to killer after 50 kills

are there any other weapons that still scale with your level even after you pick it up?
Glitched on ps4. Skippy didn't talk when picked up and quest didn't activate
This is awesome! Definitely going to pick this up!
After a while Skippy asked me to return him to original owner, and when I refused, he kept shooting nonstop without me hitting the trigger lol so have fun while you have him (might be different for some, or might be a glitch)
Reminds me of the talking sword mod for Morrowind back in the day.
Be sure to pick the pacifist option first! After 50 kills it will auto switch permanently to the other choice.

don't forget in order to use a smart weapon effectively (I.E. actually having the bullets hit anything) you're gonna need a smart link cyber-ware either by purchasing one from a ripperdoc for 9k eddies or by using the special (and free) smart link tattoo that wakako gives you as a reward for completing the gig side quest which can be collected after the prologue when "the thing" happens. anyone who has completed the prologue will know what i'm referring too.

BIG TIP! The choice you make with this weapon is not permanent! After 50 kills skippy will permanently switch to the opposite of what you chose originally. So if you choose legs to start with after 50 kills it will switch to legs permanently
So what it is, is a nerfed down smart pistol mk5 but with humour.
If only the smart weapons didnt bug out the crosshairs of other guns…

Ha Skippy is like that weird sidekick u don't want around but the one u clearly need .
For those of you out there that did not pick the "Pacifist" to start out with and the "Headshot" know after 50 kills the weapon reverts back to the "Pacifist" role which makes the weapon useless. So when you do pick up this weapon, pick PACIFIST so after the 50 kills it turns to headshot killer permanently. Most of us made that mistake. Too bad you can't reset this weapon.
Too bad it sucks after a while force switches to puppy lover and shoots off if you don't return it to its owner getting the cops called on you

Interesting fact,skippy owner is regina Jones he told you that after a time you use him,and he told you to take it back to her,and if you say you are gonna keep him he is always telling you bad user bad user, I think skippy is the best of the best haha 😄
what happens if you pick the gun up before the mission. i picked it up but it didnt turn on.

Skippy is a very good weapon for sometime since after 50 kills it'll switch back to other mode permanently (If you picked stone cold killer it'll switch back to puppy lover)
Also it has it own questline where you end up returning the weapon to it's owner
Kind of fucked me with this video. After 50 kills skippy permalocks to whichever mode you didn't pick. No way to change back… -.-
You fail to mention that it will SWITCH TO PUPPY PACIFIST MODE IF YOU CHOOSE STONE COLD KILLER AFTER FIFTY KILLS!!!!!!
the choice is a trick, you want to choose the option you DONT want cause after 50 kills skippy switches to the other mode and locks itself

I did learn you can shoot out the surveillance cameras. I never knew that now I know..🙂
