This is on the Original Xbox One (Since It was the only one I could get at the time) I'll probably make the upgrade to PC or PS5 because as you can probably tell it runs horrible on old hardware. This is after all the day one patches the devs claim have happened.
(Also note I was just trying to show gameplay of getting kills with the cyberware and I don't have a melee build, if you invest points into melee damage you'd get a lot more out of the mantis blades, gorilla arms, and mono wire)
Fuck they need to redo those mantis claws looks like you’re barely doin any damage and the kill physics with them are horrible sheesh

Forget the performance, this gameplay just looks terrible. NPCs just stand around, not moving at all, as you just spam the attack button on them and then they die. That one guy that just stays behind cover, not shooting you, the guy that spawns out of nowhere, this is awul.
Hey, where did you get legendary mantis blades and other cyberware? Which ripperdoc was it? I can't find it :/ Victor has only rare (blue) version.
The base consoles make this game look worse than it really is everywhere I’ve seen them. This game definitely just needs to be played on next-gen or Pc. Base doesn’t load NPC properly, less people in the city making it look empty, and those graphics are tough too. The only thing all share in common are bugs.
Do you need gorilla arms to open doors like we thought it was? or you just need so many points in body now?

But with all due respect, I have to admit that I agree with you on this particular issue, as well; even though I am not ''playing'' but only ''watching'' it; the framerate looks horrible. On my older gaming PC, I have spent about 7 hours playing & optimizing the game. The most I can get out is only constant/locked/stable 50fps, but in order to achieve that; I had to go slightly below ultra and reduce resolution to 1080p (full HD). Loving the game so far, but damn, the optimization is rather horrible, IMHO:( Anywho, thanks for sharing, especially coz I was really curious about the mantis blades.

Wow… nice disapearing blood textures… this game is such a disappointment, they have e been working on this game since 2012 and this is the best they can give us? This is a $65 scam! No wonder they never showed base console gameplay only next gen with RTX on.. hope they fix it.. rd2 and gta v look better than this trash on my standard Xbox one..

I'm sorry…but for all the marketing's touting of how much we'd be able to "cyber" and "customize" our character I find it really really really really really really really really really REALLY fucking dissapointed that what we got, essentially, is 4 options for combat and a shitloads of passives. That's it. That's cyberware. These four are the only four you can use combatively in the game.
Did they remove the ability to stick to walls with the mantis blades?

Yiiikes this runs badly on console.
Do the limbs get blown off only when it's a finisher or how does it work?. I expected more gruesome severed limbs from hitting with a katana or shooting someone's legs with a shotgun.

I was using the samurai sword for quite a while until I found the monowire, which I thought was a pretty slick weapon.

I usually don’t care that much about performance and graphics but man, that does look pretty bad, not enough to stop me from getting it but yeah
I’m going to say what no one wants to hear or say this game is terrible and sloppy.
Kinda sad that even with the best cyber ware it’s still not at effective as using a pistol and aiming for heads
