  1. Well I'm sure the people in the comment section who insulted me while disagreeing with me when I said each person recollection are based on their perspectives and opinions and not fully accurate meaning a characters words are not canon, feel pretty silly right now.

Then again that's still not as dumb of a statement to insult someone over when I was insulted for simply playing the game and having 7 different playthroughs, over 200+ hours played after over 60 days of the game being out, and finding something at the start that wasn't even substantial. Its amazing how ridiculous some people can be while lacking common sense.

  2. a few points..as has been commented, Johnny had NO way of knowing she had worked a backdoor into Soulkiller1.0 and was actually alive in there. and they didn't have TIME to do a full systems check. as for Johnny's memories being inaccurate…there's two problems with that. 1.)if the memories would have been preserved, it would be as they happened, not just as he WISHED they happened. This is why Saburo had that comment about dead people speaking the truth. 2.) the GREATER problem , and one that leaves a loophole for a "false events" version, is the fact that both Johnny and Arasaka admit that once they have an engram..they can PLAY with it. What guarentee do we have that this is the 100% unaltered Johnny Silverhand after Arasaka had 50 years to pull him apart…and for that matter, why is everyone assuming there was only ONE copy, when there are multiple files that indicate they are currently QUITE capable of multiple backups, and keeping one for thier own use? remember..in the book version of the 2020 tower raid, Johnny wasn't just shot..he was blown in freaking half, in front of witnesses. it played out COMPLETELY diffrently. So it's entirely possible, even probable, that the Johnny we see in this game is either a partial reconstruction gleaned from what was left of Johnny's body (much like they do with Jackie if you take his body back to Vics and arasaka reclaims it) and/or IT WAS NEVER REALLY JOHNNY and much of his attitude/ demeanor was V's personality filling in the blanks, as the prototype chip was never intended to be used to overwrite an already active mind. This theory is further supported by the "choose arasaka" ending where Silverhand admits as much..that they've been blended too thouroghly to be considered speerate individuals anymore. Of course, that COULD have jsut been Johnny getting all Pissy and poetic.

  3. You have to remember this memory is like water it change forms all the time, that’s why we have so much time putting it inside our social medial or our own websites and taking video of our self.

We fear the day we forget ourselves the most

  4. I don't really think his memory is "scrambled" by any means, he's just biased. You don't hear about Blackhand because the way Johnny sees it, he's the star of the show, even though the raid was Blackhand's idea.

What I'd like to know is, what did they do with Johnny's body? He has a "grave" (I assume that most of his body has probably decomposed) but who bothered to put him there?

  5. I read up on the Lore before the game came out I was weirded out as why there was no militech briefing or why blackhand wasn’t even there, it remains to be seen if he will appear in dlc and tell the true version as to what happened at the tower. I hope CDPR resolves these problems fairly quickly so that they may utilize the game’s potential.

  6. My theory is that Johnny can't cope with the fact that his final moments in life were in service to a Corporation, and created a sort of mental delusion about his role in the second raid. Maybe we will get a DLC with an ending where you get the truth of the 2023 Arasaka raid and then raid it ourselves with Militech's help.

  7. Idk but there are some points in the game that refered johnny silverhand as the bomber.

There's a shard from morgan blackhand called solo manual. If i remembered it right, he said about a certain rockerboy who blew up a whole platoon of corpo.

To add it up, when you ask saul about nomad santiago. He told you he(santiago) snuffed cause his friends(maybe silverhand) wants to blow Arasaka to smithereen.

Then when you sat in Afterlife and Jackie ordered a Silverhand drink, Claire will tell you that Silverhand got the spot on the menu cause he died spectacularly as a legend.

And the whole Rogue thing, it seems that she didnt deny any stories of Silverhand either.

  8. Rogue says she met Johnny in 2015 (in different localizations), yet Johnny remember that they have already established relationship in 2013.

Johnny was on drugs mostly all the time, who knows what mixed up in his memories over 50 years.

  10. It makes sense that Johnny's huge ego (as well as physical damage to his body) would distort his memories but this really should have been communicated to the player in-game because now unless you actively go out of your way to learn this it just seems like the game retconned most of the 2020 era stuff

  11. That always seemed like such a lazy loophole, Johnny being cornered by Smasher and facing certain death only to…. suddenly teleport to the roof? And those memory sequences were such a snoozefest because Johnny is so damn OP in them. Unfortunately, due to the state of the game, it's easier to draw the conclusion these things are due to poor development rather than the fact Johnny is an unreliable narrator.

  12. The fact that we are allowed to "alter" Johnny's memories, with dialogue options and such, shows that his memories aren't exact or set in stone, otherwise they'd playout only one way.

  13. Not sure if it's been said or not, but… right after Johnny's first encounter with Adam there is a gap. During that gap Morgan definitely showed up to fight Smasher and give Johnny a chance to escape.

  14. I’m still sad there’s no happier ending for V but heck, even in the epilogue the relic percentage is still at 60% so I’m hoping 100% in future dlcs means something… happier…

  15. Johnny's memory of the raid maybe be inaccurate but I don't think it's because of his ego like some others claim. Johnny comes across like an egotistical douche in many of his own flashbacks. If he truly was giving us a self-serving, unreliable account of these events, he would probably make himself come across as a more likable and sensible guy. His skewed recollection is probably a result of the trauma he suffered during the attack and the engram warping his mind.

  16. I mean, according to the board game lore, Blackhand was supposedly the one who fought Smasher on the roof of the tower. With the outcome of the fight left vague, with the implication that Smasher is the one who dies.

But seeing as how Smasher is alive but hasn't claimed victory for killing Blackhand, I think its safe to say he's still somewhere out there

  17. We already knew Johnny was an "unreliable narrator". It's what makes the game work : not knowing if this new friend is being completely honest with you or even with himself. Like real people.

  18. Alt DID say that Johnny’s recollection of events was warped. At the time I just thought she was bein’ a wench. Though when you consider a few things it makes sense. Like how Johnny tells V that he never worked with Thompson again after trying to free Alt the first time yet we can clearly hear Thompson flying in the AV with Johnny and speaking to Rogue during the flight to bomb Arasaka tower.

  19. Johnny's memory of the arasaka raid is the amalgamation morgan and johnny's memories . He's a narcissist thats why he change it to look like he's the hero, their combined memories inserted to V may also explain why's V became more powerful after their memories are inserted to him..

  20. Honestly… this makes a lot of sense in terms of not seeing Morgan blackhand at all.. or extra support from millitech. I was scratching my hard about this and never really thought about that way,
