  1. 1:43:34 – "Quick Look"

I refuse to watch any quick look that's longer than a minute and a half.

Get back to me when you condense all of the information about this game down to 90 seconds or I'm going to the FBI.

  2. Just finished my first play through of the Witcher 3 at a bit over 90 hours and that was just the main story not even the expansions. Started this game last night and it’s a bit rough but I didn’t actually take time to mess with the settings yet but I have faith in CDPR. Don’t regret my purchase.

  3. This is way longer than I need to watch but after the Jeff & Jeff video I want to stick around to see if Jeff has a single positive thing to say about this game. ETA: 23 minutes in, he likes how goofy the armor is.

  4. Im having fun..i didnt expect it to be good just decent gta sci fi..but this surpassed my expectation especially the same section they did in the video, I went guns blazing no talking and had an awesome mech fight at the end.. there are significant variations in the mission based in method, its subtle at times but it builds really well.. for example my keanu had some of his best lines..but that is subjective in how you play I always play as a bad evil guy ..corpo in this case. They are correct that the game can seem a bit shallow (no random quest chains from regular pedestrians ala watchdogs legion no relationship or simulated npc worlds like skyrim) a lot of their criticism is valid..but if you go looking for the small quests and stories it makes a lot of emotional depth. Gunplay is really fun! I dont stealth and in hard mode the perks do matter. This is not deus ex..it cant be but it has heart and tries.

  5. The loot HUD elements is rather distracting and unimmersive as an RPG. Wouldn't it be better to only have them on after using scanning mode? Actually, hearing them say most choices matter little and this is more video game probably means it wouldn't matter. Still, it makes me think of Borderlands.

  6. Jeff keeps saying he wants to see how this game plays out, I don't understand why he really seems like he hates this game. Maybe it's the career but if I dislike something as much as he does, I stop playing it. It's not like he only spent 10 mins with it. He's got enough time in that he can say what he needs for game of the year stuff.

  7. It's a shame it came out broken as fuck, but I'm not gonna lie. This looks like a good time, and the city looks great. Will have to get it once it's all patched up.
I will say the tone is like a mix of traditional cyberpunk imagery and.. fucking marty mcfly, back to the future 2015, where it's kind of lame and goofy.
Like Shadowrun really nails the cyberpunk vibe and has such a creative universe behind it, I guess I kind of just want this game.. but Shadowrun.

  8. Ok. Thos game is made by a studio who had never made a shooter before.is way smaller the ubisoft's EAs. Is based out of Poland. Idk what their policies are for working from home. Has to make the game run on 8 platforms! That is difficult! As far as the game so far from I played it's kinda meh. It's ok but not super great in one particular genre. Shooting is different( I play alot of shooter love DOOM ETERNAL APEX ETC) the crafting system so far is useless. I have yet to see a need for it. Had a few glitches but non game breaking yet. So far the story is kinda meh. The constant f bombs is kinda lame and the dialogue is not delivered the best compared to witcher3. Idk about the full game yet. Dam. This could have been pushed back some mmore

  9. The way this game runs on base ps4 and xbone it's like this game should have ditched last gen entirely. The business reasons for doing so much financial sense. Ut damn it's like fallout 4 bad performance wise.

  10. Deus Ex
    Deus Ex: Invisible War
    Deus Ex: Human Revolution
    Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
    Rage
    Rage 2
    Borderlands
    Borderlands 2
    Borderlands 3
    Farcry 3
    Farcry 4
    Farcry 5
    Dishonored
    Dishonored 2
    Prey (2017)

Is there anything 2077 has on offer that hasn't been done before, or better, in one of the titles on my incomplete list above? Is there any evolution or revolution going on here? While the obvious comparison is with the Deus Ex series, I tossed in Borderland and Rage because it looks like CP2077 might share some style and, um, "humor" elements with those titles. I'm just going off reviews though.

I guess my question is: I just got Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (only game on that list I haven't played) off Steam to mess with while I waited for Cyberpunk 2077…. should I just play that $8 game and skip dropping $60 on a "cyberpunk" game that might not be as cyber or punk as games I've already invested thousands of hours in?

  11. Good grief, the writing quality in this game is bloody awful. Everyone sounds like they're written by a child who is trying desperately to think what an adult might sound like in real life.
