  1. I'm glad CDPR did the right thing and issued the refunds to those who have problems. It doesn't excuse not disclosing the game's performance on old gen, but this is probably the best outcome anyone can expect. Personally I'm loving the game a lot and it's my all time favorite.

  2. This is why CDPR are good developers they released a game and when negative press came in they put their hands up said
We are sorry if you dont like the game we will refund it but we are trying to fix it

Minus a couple bugs and 4 crashes
I really enjoy this game am on my 2and playthrough now and plan to do all side quests
Keep my money guys it was well spent use it to fix this game and make it the best thing ever 🙂

  3. Why do you so called "gamers" talk about games and consoles like they are your children? If they do something bad you defending them and drag out something another company did in the past etc?
I mean, it's a fucking game, play it or don't play it.
If I buy a new vacuum cleaner and it don't preform well, you don't see me defending it when other people are complaining.
And I am definitely not giving praise because I could return it, that's something one expect when buying a faulty product.

Happy CDPR admits their mistake, but shame on them for letting it happen in the fist place (They knew damn well how their game is running on older hardware)

  4. Talking to their community after something like that is the best thing they can do ( and apologies), it doesn't resolve all the bugs but I would say it's a start in the right direction. Now we wait….

  5. PS4 was current gen a month ago and could handle any game from this generation as expected. All my games look awesome. God of War, for example, still looks amazing, GTAV is awesome. They really should have been more honest.

  6. Im surprised how dare they actually provide this junk (CP 2077) to customers after knowing what happens to Anthem and Fallout 76; it almost like a fraud, and seems this kind of approach is starting to become a trend since all of them got away with it pretty easily; No lawsuits? No penalties? What the hell~ gaming industry seems really easy to make money: (over exaggerated advertising + below average quality + a push from IGN) x "next gen gaming" buck-passing = how to steal couple hundreds of millions and walked away with glory.

  7. I was furious at first, but after struggling through the main story line to the amazing, moving and a very emotional end, (For the choices I made) Despite the graphics being not to great, the actual story is , so excellently pieced together towards the final chapter, I found times I was actually crying my eyes out. Great story just shame about the graphics and glitches problem. I have decided to start again with a different Starter choice for my Character, this time Street Kids. ( Platform PS4)

  8. I just finished a playthrough on ps4. The game crashed a lot… But, did it crash more than rdr2 did the first month? It sure didn't crash as much as fallout 76 did the first month. And both those games cost $20+ more than cyberpunk did. I was just glad to be able to play the game without updating my console. It was a fun game, bugs didn't bother me that much…and again, seemed par for the course for recent open world games. I don't necessarily get overhyped for games, it's just entertainment. Not the best game I've ever played but still thoroughly enjoyed it and unlike most reactions I've seen… I actually really liked the ending I got.

  9. I’m on a PS4 slim. It’s buggy and crashes hard, almost every 3 hours, which resets all my settings and I’ve got to tediously change them back, however I’ve never been more engaged in a game since the Witcher. I get in a state of hyperfocus and can forget my surroundings. The bugs are forgivable for me, as the fleshed out content keeps me coming back and I genuinely care about these characters.

  10. No it is not unreasonable for it to run smoothly on old gen. GTA V was on PS3 as well and didnt have the same performance issues because they are a AAA studio where as CDPR has proven they are not quite there yet. Not only in performance but sheer features and innovation. The civilian AI is worse than GTA, more on the same level as Skyrim an even older game. Cool setting story is interesting but there is soooo much missing for this to be a AAA open world RPG. Still enjoying it but they are not the high caliber dev studio people make them out to be after sucking geralts dick for too long.

  11. Completely agree with you that this is one of the best games at grabbing you and sucking you in. I'm on PS5 so I'm not having too many issues, just a lot of crashes.. I'm glad CDPR owned up to it and are issuing refunds, and I'm glad there's another patch coming within the next 7 days. I'll still be playing it, I'm sure.

  12. This is funny. After all they previous successes they have many investors so they need to use tactics as any other big gaming companies to please them – rushing, hiding inconvient infromations, but at the same time, their marketing was always about being gamers friendly. So now they're kinda in between. They messed up, but stil it's good they didn't turn into typical gaming company that doesn't give a shit about gamers.

  13. You can't say that it is unreasonable to expect it to run on older gen because CDPR said it would. That should not be an excuse for them, that is a very good reason to complain about this launch.

You could say it was unreasonable for CDPR to expect it, but it's their job to realize it sooner and to notify that to their customers. Instead they choose to hide it until launch. If any company other than CDPR or Larian did this, people would be crushing them right now.

  14. I’m happy that CDPR are doing right and refunding peoples games if they need to I personally can push through the bugs and shitty AI and maybe some crashes but if I could actually upgrade I would unfortunately I don’t have the money for a PC and there is no PS5 is available

  15. I'm playing on base PS4 and since update 1.04 it's not too bad for me & I've probably played 10-15hrs. Before update 1.04 it was crashing a lot after the prologue as I started with Nomad.
I didn't expect it to play as if I was on a next gen console but I expected that it would have been a lot more playable on day 1. I've played a lot of RDR2, The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima and all of them play fine on my PS4

  16. Ps4 pro isn't unplayable. Definitely doesn't look like the pc gamplay we've seen but I'm having a blast with it. Had to customize the controls but if you made it thru fallout 4 then you will live thru this

  17. meh, so many complaints, but I haven't had anything i'd consider "game breaking" bugs. a few minor issues, I played Fallout 76 since Beta, CP 2077 is amazing by comparison. some people are just complaining for the sake of complaining imo.
