  1. I would love to see another playthru of this game, played it thru 3+ times myself and still want more! Let me tell u the hacker playthru will make you feel like an absolute god! The enemies will be like your little marionettes, but you will be very fragile yourself so it wont feel too OP. please post that run, even if its on gopher live!

PS: you might also want to try female V. She really is a great actress. Theres also the strange dynamic of Johnny being stuck in a female body

  2. Thanks for the low drama post Gopher. The Internet and YouTube need more of that. I'm one of the people who didn't watch so sorry about that. Your content is great and I like the Cyberpunk Universe back from its tabletop days but its a low priority game for me, waiting till patches and DLC if that is coming and of course spoilers, ugh.

  3. Honestly the only reason I've not been watching the CP77 vids is 'cause I usually wait until you're done with a game anyway and just watch it all in bulk. Not the best for A L G O R I T H M but still. I'd love a second playthrough from the netrunner side of things, even if you just do it on Twitch like you did with Barry. It's always fun seeing how different types of characters develop their own personalities on this channel (lookin' at you, fifteen different Skyrim playthroughs 😉

  4. I have enjoyed this let's play. If you do another play through I would watch. I get it that the console players are upset but I think this game was too ambitious for console and should have been PC only and been held up longer to perfect it.

  5. Your sentiments strongly echo my own. I was playing on i7 10-700 PC with an RTX 2060 graphics card, so had little to no issues with graphical fidelity. However I am bitterly disappointed that console players got such an awful gameplay experience at launch, especially given the lack of transparency. I did a 135 hour run-through as a stealthy, non-lethal hacking Nomad…..& I loved every minute of it. That said, there are things I feel they can improve….and hope they do. Significant improvement to the AI for pedestrians and Traffic is a key one for me. As is keybinding & car handling. In DLC/Expansions, I'd love to see more "mini-game" side content, as well as more things to do with your chosen romance option. Top of my list, though, would be more time to hang out with-& get to know-Jackie Welles. None of these "issues" make the game bad, in my books, but they could help make a great game MAGNIFICENT!!!

  6. I couldn't watch the CP77 let's play because my eyes feel like they're metaphorically bleeding. I'm overloaded with information. Didn't help I tried watching at first with Covid. Now that it's finally out of my system, I might be able to process it better, but I don't know for sure yet. Watching just this is difficult. I guess I'm not built like I used to be, haha. Congrats to Gopher for being able to play and tolerate it.

  7. I've really enjoyed your Cyberpunk videos. The main reason I waited to watch them is so I could beat the game first, and having done so now, it's fun to see how you move through things.
While I definitely have a significant list of issues with the game, overall I really enjoyed it too. I'm on my second playthrough (first one was a Body-focused gorilla arms, second is a Intelligence min/maxed hacker, so quite a neat coincidence there), and I do still look forward to sitting down to play every time. I think modding support will be HUGE for this game (assuming we get Skyrim-level tools or, stars be praised, even better), and I think the bugs will continue to be smoothed out.

As for the crunch, and the lies/misleadings, and the push to release a spectacle… I mean, I don't like that either, but if I get on my "the problem is capitalism" soap box we'll be here all month.

  8. 405 hours into my 3rd playthrough. A big Witcher fan and CDPR fan. I'm really looking forward to your review. You almost always have the same take on games I do but this one I'm really interested in. Your SSE is still a master class in what gaming playthroughs should be!

  9. FWIW: This runs just fine on my old, basic gaming laptop with a GTX 1660. Didn't run well until I searched for ~ maximize FPS for Cyberpunk 2077, and found a good guide that made a huge difference. Some settings I wouldn't have thought about changing were really worth it.
Runs great now. Very few issues.

  10. My thoughts with my time so far can be summed up as thus:
I eagerly await the fixed bugs, I have played every mechanic in this game (aside from the city itself) done better in other games, however when playing I'm enjoying myself too much to care, and that's all I really wanted out of game. I had no hype, I wasn't interested, but a steam share for a few hours convinced me to buy my own copy.

  11. I enjoyed CP2077 too. I’ve got close to 400 hours playing. It feels good being able to say that without having to feel bad about it or arguing with people to justify my experience.

Personally, I’m really sick and tired of people complaining about “crunch”. Overtime is a common practice in a lot of occupations. I’m a Psychologist and I work in an Acute Care Team for over 10 years. 1-2 days of double shifts and a 6 days work week is common place. My wife is a Nurse, anyone wanna guess how much overtime she does? CDPR’s “crunch” would feel like a holiday for her.
