In this video we take a look at the immune system cyberware in cyberpunk 2077. I tested every single cyberware mod to see if they even work. All this information is as of patch 1.1. If anything changes, I will update the description and add to a pinned comment. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Haven't watched yet, but here's hoping they fixed some with the patch. I'm on Xbox One X and the patch made textures, population, and draw distance all decline pretty significantly, which wasn't necessary.

  2. Does anyone know if sneak attack damage (e.g. from the Cool Stat) benefits hacks from stealth?
I'm also wondering if having a silenced weapon in your hand influences hack sneak attack damage.
IMO resistance Cyberware and Perks are pointless since you can become immune to everything pretty easily (or even be buffed by it).
I assume Inductor is also negatively impacted by things that make you immune to shock?
How does Inductor interact with Defensive Clotting (additive or multiplicative)?

I'd be curious to know the range of Shock N Awe. My main build is hybrid katana/hacks, so I thought about getting it, not as defense against enemy melee, but since if I take damage from enemy ranged attacks there's a chance I'll be in melee range of enemies, but odds are I'd kill them in a few hits either way, so I'll probably go with some combination of Pain Editor, Metab. and Inductor.

Originally I though Pain Editor would be the best, and that I'd pick either Met. Editor or Inductor and get an armour mod for the remaining damage type, but if you factor in the damage reduction from an epic Aramadillo, plus 18 Tech and Defensive Clotting (don't know if those increases are additive or multiplicative), the epic Armadillo would probably either be better, equal or pretty close, and you then have the benefit from the extra armour or healing. I could get a perk but then I'd never be able to take advantage of the Cyberware without a perk reset.

I wouldn't throw your grenades on the ground during a fight to heal yourself as it would largely be a waste of time and a grenade (and outside a fight would be pointless, just eat something). Using a rare Bounce Back (+25% HP & +6% HP/sec for 30-45s) would likely be quicker and more effective (12% for 5s vs 25%/5s + 6% = 11% for 5s + 6% for 25-40s). As for costs I don't know the crafting costs of each. But it would probably make sense, especially for a shotgun or melee build to throw a grenade at enemies before charging in (harming them and buffing you).

  3. Thank you soooo much for doing this. It actually helps make this broken game playable. Ok, maybe not playable, but at least we can see some of the inconsistencies that the (don’t laugh) Quality Assurance, Quality Control or whatever they called the people they hired to make sure this game wasn’t “a turd wrapped in crepe paper” at release).

  4. It would be nice if the game has a system that tells you "Don´t take this skill/implant/whatever, you already get X effect from X", because when you play with multiple characters like me, the different builds i try can make it quite confusing.

  5. Can you please test if the Mass Vulnerability perk is working? (The one that reduces the physical resistance of enemies). I saw a detailed post on reddit with a big spreadsheet covering every perk, saying if they work or not etc. and it said that it doesn't work. I need some more confirmation!

  6. The video is extremely useful. But i can't help thinking that so many effects and perks contradict themselves, that it's almost as the game wasn't completely thought thru. Also, as we all know, if you go electroshock you'd better lure your ennemies out of the combat zone, because those are littered with explosive containers, which will happily detonate with the shock and insta-kill you. Another fantastic design choice, there…

  7. Nice video on the immune system cyberware. Could you do a video on if the mass vulnerability skills stack like the 30% more dmg from quickhacks and the mass vulnerability that does all resistances skill? I am not in front of my ps4 so cant tell the name of the skills.

  8. I would most likely want a guide on cyberware mods… I have a legendary
monowhire and after 200h of gameplay I only found 1 type of mod that
goes into it, the battery ( I don't understand what the description says
about charges like 5 charger or 25 chargers – what does it mean??) but
what is the other type of mod you can put into it? Also, I found my
legendary monowire early in the game, and now that I'm higher level,
epic and rare monowires do more damage… is there a way to get another
legendary one or increase the damage… is my legendary monowhire
useless because I got it at low level?

  9. Hej, thanks for all the guides, I found yours the most informative. Could you do a guide on armor? Like what types of damage does it prevent and does it scale? I have over 2000 armor – I mostly don't get damaged during fights but sometimes I reveive massive damage like 150 in one blow – does it meat somebody just did 500 worth of damage on me? Does armor work during boxing? I went into boxing quest with the animal chick and she always wins in 1 hit with me, doesn't matter if I block or not – and she does no damage to me, nothing. I fought the twins early in the game and they would whittle down my own health and when I dropped, I'd lose the fight, but the animal is isnta winning despite doing no damage…. I don't get it…. does armor protect you from all types of damage? Like fire / electric / poison ? Does it work in melee / fist fights? Would love a deep guide on this with different levels of armor.

  11. For the love of god, don't tell people that the "Shock n Awe" cyberware is good! It's the worst thing you can have equipped, because it makes no distinction between "enemies" and random NPC's, so you are constantly hitting members of the public and/or police and getting pwned because of it.
Same goes for the Legendary "Short Circuit" quickhack. It makes your car or bike an electrified missile. You can usually "bump" a pedestrian, and though they'll fall over, it won't kill them, so no bounty. With that legendary quickhack installed even a tiny bump is an insta kill which is an insta bounty. (side note = it can also mess with "Skippy" swapping modes, as he doesn't actually get "kills" the electric shock from that quickhack does.)
