The Voodoo Boys & The Gods of the Old Net – Cyberpunk 2077 Lore Explained

The Voodoo Boys are a mysterious gang composed of netrunners who took the place of a former booster in Night City after all gangs restructured themselves to make way to the new times after the 4th

They claim they left their gods on their island when they had to flee due to climate change, but the truth is that they just changed one religion for another, and they expect Alt Cunningham to help them contact and communicate with the old gods of the Deep Net.

  1. Because of Saint's row, I kept calling the Voodoo boys, The Sons of Samedi. Alot of the gangs from Saint's Row remind me of the gangs from Cyberpunk. I wonder if any of the creators over at THQ got their inspiration from there.

  2. You craft lore videos like Judy Alvarez tunes braindance virtus. This video helps to explain why Netwatch and the Voodoo Boys were more interested in the engram contained on the biochip than the chip's technology. The chip itself is unique, and the technology it contains is priceless. Talented and learned people could reverse engineer this technology and replicate it for considerable profit. The free AI beyond the blackwall is unpredictable and dangerous due to all of the AI controlled systems humanity relies on. Pray that our inevitable AI overlords are benevolent, or that we can at least manage to curry favour with them. For the time being I'll try to stay on your good side as you currently rule.
