Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.

Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?

As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.

Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line – the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!

– Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
– Develop your very own Dyson Spheres, a megastructure that orbits around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw to its completion
– Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
– Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen, gaseous planets…
– Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover the secrets of the universe
– Enhance mecha fly, sail or jump through outer space and planets
– Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
– Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
– Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
– Design a balanced power network capable of producing energy in all kinds of power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars, etc.

  1. you could import coal or better yet graphite (more efficient) from eta 1 to eta 2 to save on warpers, the optical crystals can also be used for those photon thingys, not that their that use full but still

  2. There's a gap in the power grid on the lava ash planet by the copper deposit. That's why you're having so many power issues on that planet. The solar is disconnected from the sulphur pumps.

  3. 35:30 using energy exchangers would be better. 1 exchanger = 45MW. The "extra" warpers to transport the accumulators quickly become a non-issue as you get into green science if you setup a priority splitter to keep up warper production from green science. Deuteron Fuel Rod fuel rods are heavily required for rockets and deuterium is also used in green science, so using them for power isn't recommended later game. (As you make more rockets/science power suffers greatly)

  4. I think the +50% replicator speed that comes with quantum printing technology is your own personal replicator speed. I.e. in addition to getting level 3 assemblers, you get a hand-crafting speed bonus.

  5. Organic crystals are a HUGE oil sink. I just got to the point where I'm making yellow science. I've decided to standardize all my science at 2 items /second and that's 3 full belts of refined oil per organic crystal (2 for plastic and 1 for the crystals themselves). That is pretty much the entire oil supply for the initial planet!!

So yes, that is a huge savings to substitute with mined organic crystals! I've been saving a whole box full of logs and leaves but that needs 30 belts input per 1 belt out (not effective!)

  6. This video both made me want to buy this game but also sad that such a cool exploration thing was spoiled. The mushroom planet makes me say "I want this game" but also "I am sad I did not discover this on my own." I am still very sadden about you plowing over some of the mushrooms too 🙁

  7. You need to set the minimum load of vessels in the towers. If it is 100% the ship will only leave with a full load. If you have the providing tower set to an amount smaller than the ship size then it will never send ships.

  8. On the Mushroom planet with Organic Crystals, I had a similar planet, and I just had oil miners outputting directly to thermal power stations. They will burn raw crude oil which is better than placing wind mines everywhere, considering you arent using the oil yet 🙂
