What's Left? Hint: This Isn't a Beta // Escape from Tarkov Future Plans Info Dump 2021

With so many trolls and frustrated fans out there misunderstanding where Escape from Tarkov is, where it’s come from and where it’s going. I break down the biggest lie to get out of your head to understand the future plans of Escape from Tarkov and how long it will take to get there. Tarkov is NOT a BETA right now.

  1. You guys were getting tired of the B-roll. I think it distracts from the commentary but I'll let you guys decide. What do you think if I had some crazy plays going in the background of these commentary videos? I wanted to show some love to other creators out there starting with one of my oldest friends Saucy – check him out 🙂 https://youtu.be/LcjI6GHmqpk

  2. Sad part is that games like this with long betas start to die very quickly once the last major content updates happen and they’re released. Maybe the DLCs can keep it alive but so many people already have EOD edition so the incentive to make them is limited bc their revenue stream will slow down. When/if BSG starts doing deals with steam the player base will explode but it will inevitably make the game die sooner, since the potential player base will be accessed all at once rather than a slow trickle like we see now. I love EFT and hope it does well whatever happens, but hopefully the focus is to fix the game and refine its existing elements before implementing big and potentially game breaking changes

  3. I hope they don't make all traders accessible only in raid, instant uninstall, buying and selling stuff while someone may be aiming at you waiting to steal all your stuff, and having to get it all to extract. Terrible idea

  4. Although a good part of what you said is true, a lot is probably not up to date. Most of what you are talking about are features that were "things that could be cool to add" and probably won't make into the game, like illness and batteries.
In raid traders were also concepts to be only in the open world, and the only trader "confirmed to be only found in raid is the warden.
Although the flow of the game will change, is will still be similar, we still be able to play in a very similar way than currently.
+ when you see what has already been done (knowing that they stand 2 years almost only fixing the game) and that bsg is now 5 times bigger

  5. I feel as though most people would prefer an improved version of what Tarkov is now over what BSG wants Tarkov to become. The game already has a lot of complex systems and mechanics, it really doesn't need a bunch of role-playing elements bloating it further. Save that ambition for Russia 2028, tbh.

  6. Biggest bsg shill on youtube. Bsg has been saying and promising all this crap for years, half of everything you said is never going to happen and if it did it wouldn't be within the next 3 years, which is a problem considering how nikitia himself said he was tired of making this game and wanted to make something else… stop blowing smoke up people ass cause you're scared this game is gunna die. Pos.

  7. This words seems nice, but players know the truth that this game is far from working right now with less mechanics, items etc. and what will be with all new content. When they say about streets from one year, rest of the maps will be avabile in 2025 and engine will be same as 2018 so I see no future like that.

  8. LMAO. They still can't fix the very basic stuff, like sound, hit registration, etc. I just don't believe BSG are capable of what they have promised. Streets of Tarkov map is taking like ~ 2 – 3 years for now to release. Unless BSG's are planning to develop Tarkov for another 10 – 15 years 80% of their promises are highly inprobable. Don't get me wrong, im enjoying the game but i'm yet to see some REAL changes for Tarkov (aside from crap stuff like new bleeds, rigs, backpacks, food, weapons etc)

  9. I juts want them to trash the tarkov arena idea because its stupid and will only dilute the matchmaking pools, and put Russia 2088 as a single player (maybe co-op) campaign in tarkov

  10. I thought they wanted to keep the raid instances and scrapped true open world. So transitioning from one map to another would still be an instance based raid, only that you wouldnt end up in your hideout but in the next map

  11. just going to put this straight out there, most real fans aren't going to be chucking out 24-48 hour plays of tarkov let alone 12 hour days on this. tarkov is pretty much my main shooter and has been ever since i got back into the game after a huge break i took due to pc problems end of 2017/start of 2018. BSG "should" be taking less advice from streamers. alot of us see the implications listening to heavy tarkov streamers have on the game, example 1: mosin nerf.. it'd be fairly naive to assume that listening to streamer advice is a good thing, what happens when you guys move on before BSG finishes main production on tarkov.

  12. I've played since Alpha and anyone who played then knows how broken and unplayable it was. It didn't strike me as an Alpha and instead more of an Alpha One. Then me and my friends jumped on one day to find the game was in Beta. We laughed our asses off. I don't know why Battlestate Games did this, but me and my friends believe it was to trick people into buying the Edge of Darkness Edition, because they were supposed to remove that Edition upon the game entering a Beta stage, but after thousands of people rushed to buy it, they decided to not remove it and instead remove it upon release, but by that time most people will have it – making it not so limited.

  13. There’s drama in the Tarkov community? Color me surprised.

I learned a while ago to stay off the Reddit and just enjoy the game for what it is. The devs can do what they want with it, and at their own pace. I’m a simple person. I see loot – I shove it up my arse. I see a player – I usually die moments later. Life is much easier this way.

  15. First of all, great video mate!
Honestly, EFT isn’t 65% finished, but more like 50-55%! Half of the maps are missing, open world is missing, storyline is missing, at least two more factions are missing ( UN Troops and Russian Army ), weapon malfunctions, real time rig management, new plate carrier system, complete graphical overhaul, karma, lots of skills, team based looting, lots of traders missing and in-raid traders, team healing, lock picking, new movements and animations, gore system, addiction, toxication and radiation, map extensions, etc

  16. Thats not what it means to be in beta, you can still make changes that are more than just ironing things out. It's not like it's even that big of a deal. Tarkov is definitely in beta and there's no issue with it being labeled as such, especially compared to where it was when people first were able to play it. Every game has things that get tweaked and changed all the time even after release, whether those changes are big or small. Tarkov may have a long road ahead of it, but for the most part it is a pretty complete and well put together game already.
