I imagine the guy we are battling to have Insomnia. Since, In lost silver, his feraligatr (or whatever you can call that Pokémon) faints by just one attack, “Nightmare”. I imagine this guy has insomnia, because he won’t sleep because he’s scared of getting a nightmare. That’s why he chose feraligatr as his Pokémon, because this feraligatr is also always sleeping, and weak to nightmares.
That’s just my lore tho, it might be something very different than this lol :p
