Bro I played solo for over an hour last night. This game is so freaking awesome
I'll be keeping my eye on Valheim. I'm very optimistic based on the early reviews but my only fear is it ends up in eternal early access like 7D2D or Project Zomboid.

trader has some special jewelry (you can sell the ambers and stuff to him) and he also sells a fishing rod so you can fish π bring a shitload of coins with you haha, he's not cheap

How do you get that cape?
After install I played for 29 hours straight.
I struggled in that stone building for ages but you can jump onto the landing from the floor below! I was adamant get up there because I could see a chest at the top teasing me. π‘

Regarding what you said about the density of the forests. What I've started doing on the fringes of meadows that I hunt often I clear out all the brush and small trees so I've got much better line of sight for archery.
Added bonus is a significant amount of wood and resin for doing so but I haven't been playing long enough to know if the brush and small trees will repopulate though and render it null and void.
