It's so sad that a Youtube video has to be made to vindicate Geo Traveler's worth (or any other underappreciated characters for that matter) because some other certain Youtubers who were too lazy to actually explore a character's potential and were quick to dismiss anything that wasn't doing damage similar to that of Ganyu's. Geo Traveler has had been viable for Abyss since launch, until even more so with the arrival of patch 1.3.
On the bright side, there's content to be made by deserving content creators as a result of other people's indolence.

Yo I have a level 80 geo traveler with a level 90 festering desire too and mostly level 20 petra + glad (flower is +16). I don't do nearly the damage this one does. I know Zhongli is providing resistance shred and geo resonance but that's not the difference. I also know iwintolose probably has better artifacts. I think the difference is just Zhongli making it so you never have to dodge meaning you have more dps windows.
Like my crits against regular enemies deals less damage than his Lumine's against the 50% resist geovishaps. The 40% shred only brings it to 10% resist. I think I'm around 60% of the damage on crits.
Also I find Noelle really slow. She cleared slower than my Diluc on the old floor 12 with the +75% geo damage buff and with 2 geo supports.
pls try ningguang showcase next !! i believe shes one of the best chara in terms of pure DPS without reactions

I have my MC sitting at lv80/90 But i can't invest on her as aiming her E with a controller is pretty darn hard, hope you could try her Anemo counterpart someday to test the limits of her Anemo dmg, Nice video as always!

a note if you're trying to run geo mc + ningguang
the giant balls from mc's constructs will often block and eat the projectiles from ningguang, especially her burst. would not recommend.
Holding "E" and quickly trying to tap "Q" is real rough on mobile lol
Hmm.. I know I'm real strapped on swords right now, they're all being used – Festering Desire on Jean, Black Sword on Keqing, Sacrificial Sword on Xingqiu, Prototype Rancour on Bennett. So I'm down to a 3* weapon at this point unless I get a sword prototype and get an Iron Sting
One constellation says the meteor will deal the same dmg when it explodes. Does this proc if the meteor is "placed" on another geo construct so it doesn't "place".

I still use 2pc gambler & 2pc petra with fastering desire, still my geo MC can put high damage with E skill (35~37k with geo resonance & zhongli shield buffs) despite with 4 star artifacts. for gambler 4 star better go for flume & flower, where the main stat is flat ATK and flat HP. For me 20% elemental skill from gambler is so good + with R5 desire with total of 52% elemental skill dmg boost is better overall E skill damage compared to 2 gladiator and 2 petra. For elemental burst I can spam more often with Fastering Desire, since my elemental burst energy replenish fast.
Just asking, is the blackcliff longsword at R1 better than the festering desire? and is Geo Traveler+Albedo a viable replacement for Zhongli's absence? If so, whats the comp for them? Thanks in advance 🙂
Traveller has always been dope. it's the only guaranteed C6 character and we will have a version in every element. MC has little bits of our favorite skills from our favorite characters. Pillars like Zhongli, Tornado like Venti, pull swirl and throw like Jean, etc… Geo MC's Q is extremely unique and valuable for Razor. The only direct crit rate+ so far, as much as I know.
Who knows what Cryo or Electro MC will be able to do!
i'm glad ppl are getting hip to the potential of the MC
4pc Noblesse for long term set for Traveler. this way no matter what element they are, they team will benefit and the bonuses wont be wasted.
Yea I recently tried out the geo traveller along with zhongli and it was absolutely amazing! She’s not only a battery for him but also deals massive dmg. And I don’t even have artifacts for her nor levered up talents nor weapons

That's it. Before evolving chong, i Will pass to traveler, at least at support level, because that crit is really useful for my razor and other characters
i love geo traveler since day 1 and luckily i got c6 noelle. the thing i hate about geo traveler is enemy stuck on op of boulder. i wish mihoyo will make them knocked back or upward or something like the enemy wont stuck on top.
As much as I like your videos, for anyone watching this. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUIDE. This video is the real trap. If you can achieve this, you shouldn't even need traveller as you would have all the 5 star characters at c6. That is how insane of a comp you need for your traveller. If you don't have zhong li, forget about mc already. If you don't have INSANE artifacts. You cant even do half the damage of this video. I've just build +20 2 glad 2 archaic set and I do 3k with my elemental skill. 80 lvl traveller with 80 weapon. If you think you can make MC work thanks to this video, think again. I regret wasting all my resources just because of this video.
