Her design is awesome, and good Cryo characters are hard to come by.
Hopefully I get to my second pity before the end of the banner.
Honestly, I have enough good characters now that I can start to focus on waifu over meta. I have more than enough characters… what I need is resources to build them.
Ganyu was everything I wanted. I don't even care it cost me 200 dollars 🤣💀
Her combo with albedo in a support role is a weapon of mass destruction specially in the new abyss. The exploding crystals along with pair of the high sustaining AEO damage is devastating. She's actually the best support and carry for the cryo element imo.

Imma save up for hu tao.. the dmg ganyu produce is amazing, but the charged attack playstyle is not really for me.. good luck to those that are pulling for her though
Idk if I agree Blizzard is be all end on. With current Hydro units it’s not as easy as you’d think to get Hydro to constantly apply. I have had a lot of success so far with Wanderer’s 4 piece.
Edit: and by that same thought – Viridescent has been useful in proccing small pulls to keep stuff grouped in addition to giving crit rate. Useful for additional grouping without anemo or while on CD.
Dont if its a good team but I'm running, Razor dps, Ganyu with stringless, Xinqiu sac sword and Albedo festering.
I haven’t switched main dps for months except team 2 in abyss – Keqing has never left my party. However today she went for a rest because Ganyu is so good and so fun to play. I won’t bench Keqing forever, she’s still a favorite but Ganyu will be getting significant main dps time and will likely never leave the group since she can superconduct when I am using Keqing. Such a good character and so glad I chose to use my pity on her.
I still don’t know which bow to go for. Not sure if Blackcliff is worth the star glitter.
Is Favonius Warbow a viable option? I already have Stringless on Fischl but i dont have another. Favonius has energy recharge and i intend on making her the off/support dps.
If anyone watches DSGaming's be wary of your comments because he doesn't like criticism, he shadow banned me and after I posted my comment with my 2nd account and he replied and I replied back he just shadow banned that account as well, if I sound kinda salty it's because I am, because I don't think this warrants that, the comment is in his 2nd and latest Ganyu video but the comment was a response to his first one, this is what I said:
Wdym "if you're a whale and have all the time in the world to farm artifacts"? You don't have to be a whale to make her a main dps, nor do you have to have perfect substats and weapon, since the cryo set, passive and cyo resonance give you crit, and she has built in crit dmg so you don't even have to worry about that.
I didn't see you complaining about grinding the new hydro set for Childe to make him a dps, nor did I see anyone have a issue with building him or any dps as soon they come out, but all of the sudden making Ganyu a dps makes you a whale with a lot of time of on your hands? I mean if you want to make her a full support you do you boo, I don't have a problem with that at all, my issue is the bias.
i literally did the luckiest roll today consisting of ganyu mona xjngqui and some weapons and this build helps so much for ganyu so thankuuuuu
You completely right off Viridescent Hunt, but does not mention its ability which has been great grouping up smaller nearby enemies proccing one frostflake character making it easier to aoe more enemies when they are grouped up, not to mention the damage from the proc from viridescent has been really good adding even more damage, it's a great bow for Ganyu even if its initial damage is lower (I'm still getting 16k damage on average per shot not counting the VH proc damage which have sometimes proc'd 800 damage per tick
Would Diluc, Bennet, Ganyu, Diona be a good comp if I was running Diluc main DPS and Ganyu sub DPS?

I pulled qiqi instead of ganyu… would qiqi+ganyu+hutao+venti make a great team?

People say a lot of things before a char comes out. Turns out at C0 she is a broken as hell main dps.
Since I have the skyward hard would it be better to swap out and use 2 piece glad, 2 piece cryo instead of 4 piece cryo? Since the bow itself gives crit rate as well and it would be overkill
which talents are most important to upgrade while playing her as a support? my current party is Diluc, Bennett, Sucrose and Ganyu.

I can't decide whether to make her a sub dps or a support, I really want to utilize her charged attacks and it's kinda fun for me but that would make it to not play diluc which I have invested so much in… is it possible to build her as a main dps but can also act as a support like beidou? I want to like use her as a main dps when I want to and then switch back to diluc for change of playstyle…
After my first pity 5 star (Jean) on beginner banner, I got Ganyu on my 77th roll using her banner. F2P of course. Best of luck to y'all.
