  1. At first I was okay 108 primogems isn't so bad but after finding out that there are players that received more as in some even as many as 2000 primogems I was very disappointed. I am starting to hate this game and Mihoyo as a developer. If Blue Protocol gets released I might abandon this game permanently even though I have already spent some cash on this game.

  2. According to r/GenshinImpactTips
    108 primogems – 3* rate
    188 primogems – 4* rate
    288 primogems – 5* rate

For me, my alt account got the 288. Wish I could've screenshot it cus I thought everyone was gonna get the same until I saw that my main account got the 108.

  3. You wanna know what also sucks? Whenever mihoyo does shady stuff like this, there will always be people that defend it, right now they seem to be a minority in opinion but it still sucks bad business practices are justified just because "It's a gatcha" or "The game hasn't been out long enough" and "You are too greedy, blah blah". Again these people seem to be the minority but it's so silly to let a company walk over the playerbase and defend it.

  4. Also. The reason why some ppl got 188/288 is because there are 9.2million players on genshin. If you divide 1billion by 9.2 million the result would be 108 but with ALOT OF DECIMALS. Meaning that the left over decimals (primogems) would be scattered over a few lucky ppl.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

  5. I think the intention was good but this just makes it seem like an unfair system. I didn’t participate so this doesn’t really matter to me but they should have just given a set amount of Primo to everyone. Even if it was only like 300-500 it would seem like a fair system. But regardless I hope people enjoy my Primo I didn’t get. 👍

  6. I dunno why there was rng for this, especially feel bad for the people who couldn't even get all the lanterns. people with multiple accounts that participated on all of them that would have made the share smaller too which is annoying they need to make it one account per IP

  7. I honestly don’t think they’re gonna do anything about it and the fact they’re censoring the game’s subreddit only reinforces this feeling. I don’t know what’s going on with miHoYo lately but they’re REALLY set on milking people. Might have to do something with the decreasing player base. You know, rob them blind while you can before the game totally tanks.

  8. Honestly.. I expected this. I kept my expectations very low and I'm glad I did. I got 188 primos which is obviously utterly ridiculous. It would've been a much better deal if they just gave a handful of mora and wits! I find it that ridiculous. I mean think about it we literally got 10 wishes from a recent log-in event. Which is 1600 primos.. is it really that difficult to gave us some wishes or like 400 primos instead? which is not fair either because we had to share their event we took part in it and we had to visit their websites.. that right there is promo and promo costs money. Like is it really okay to let Mihoyo use their players like that??

  9. Beyond disappointed. If I was responsible for that event, hyping up a grand prize, building a website from scratch, all the artwork, a week long countdown with firework animations, when in the end people don't even get a single gacha pull out of the giveaway, I'd bury myself the deepest hole out of sheer embarrassment.

  10. Again please take care of your friends this is a ludopathy trap, they are trying to drain the cash from people, the past gachas and this event show this thing, people is getting teased into buy gachas since lots of people may be having this a s backup source of primogems so by literally let you have the baner of weapons and keiqing and make the xiao shorter than usual, the event do say that it was going to be in fact random, but everything was hide in order for people to do not notice it, in fact I was waiting for 1 primogems reward but the important part is to don't spend moeny or take care of your friends with this sort of gambling trouble because the whole game is slowlly turning into this mechanic, even inside the game, items to upgrade characters etc, everything is under a very high random chance that if you notice can be buy with real life money so be aware

  11. MiHoYo would probably give more later and we will interpret that as them listening to "backlash". But I think that they're just testing how much we are addicted to Primogems to the point that others would go crazy and toxic lolololol.
