I hope this covers the subject well enough and I voiced my thoughts without offending anyone. I do think we are going too far. That being said, it would be nice for MiHoYo to address this at the very least and say something, anything. There needs to be more communication with the community before people start giving up on the game.

I feel like the game describes Kaeya as "exotic" because he's from Khaen'riah which is a mysterious place? Am I wrong? I'm not great with the lore for this game.
People got really nothing to do with their lives. China or not, stfu and enjoy the game , instead if looking for non existing issues. Account security, yes, that's something needs urgent fix,more than anything but things like "this character is too dark….too light skin….too tall…too fat…." bla bla bla is utter crap.

I don't think Mihoyo should apologize for stuff other people took offense to. I feel like because of cancel culture, game companies now are afraid to do anything adventurous in the off chance might trigger a negative response. Heck a certain game won lots of game awards last year for pandering to a certain group of people while majority of actual players thought it was bad. Apologizing for something they meant no ill intent to is just wrong. That's one thing about Western culture that I'll never understand. But what they should apologize for is the crap that is actually relevant to the game: lack of security and communication with international fans about the game itself.
Bruh… Those Twitter warriors aren't really doing any good to the community, especially those who are playing outside the country where Genshin was made. If Mihoyo will decide to terminate or cancel the access of this game outside CN, I'd freaking flame those "warriors" for doing unnecessary stuff who will be affected by their dog crap.
I've experienced such inability to access a game from CN and it was one of the games I looked forward to play for a long time. Very frustrating.
As for 2FA, I agree it will be developed like from a very long time to nil at all. The way security is going for them is very much the same as Honkai's. Pretty much just for recovery purposes. I'm not really hoping for it tbh, mine is already bound to everything the account security asked. A pin for every login will be really nice though…

I really wished GI didn't boomed so much it went mainstream. Now, we have a lot of bandwagons who want to change the game in favor for themselves. It's way more peaceful back in GGZ and Honkai, nothing compared to what we have now with their new game GI and its current community. The gacha game is just being a gacha game, and yes, it is a "game", and don't confuse fantasy with reality, they are 2 different things. Otherwise, you are the problem. Besides, it's nothing new. Additionally, people should realize that those people in Mihoyo are working too. As much as it is obvious, the workers need to get paid as well and money is needed to make more and better content. Believe it or not, it doesn't matter, Game development is not an easy and cheap job and that's a fact. So, I wish these people stop. i'm not even trying to defend Mihoyo specifically, but this ordeal is more or less a disrespect to every game developers out there who just want to make their vision into a game.
