Great video ! But I think you got confused between shadow of the warriors and new boss material ..He will need SOTW for his talents ascension and he will need the new boss material for his level ascension , not like he’s not gonna need SOTW At all

Glads 4p is not good on Xiao… That's the biggest misinformation in this video. You want to be plunging during the ultimate because of its high multiplier and Glad 4p does not increase plunging damage. You're also confusing people with the Childe material, that's his talent level up material, not his ascension material.
He is 5 star razor only worse since his constellations are terrible and do not match his play style at all

I have been pulling Deathmatch since the first BP pass… So I will have R4 on the upcoming pass (the constant atk% and def% from passive wont be horrid… especially as he is losing hp during burst). I made the original pull in order to have a future spear for Xiao. I will have about 60%+ Crit and 150%+ CritDmg with the gear I have ready. Still really not sure if it was worth wasting all those BP pulls sob

would cryo team xiao be good since i thought about this myself what if xiao uses 4 piece blizzard slayer with full crit dmg sub stat with a headpiece a crit dmg and a blackcliff in total xiao will get about 270 crit dmg. But the blizzard slayer and the cryo resonance will give him 35% crit rate. Sucrose as a battery with fav codex, kaeya with fav sword as a elemental trigger applying cryo enemies and diona with fav bow as a shielder and a healer. Here's the team rotation. Use sucrose e for energy recharge then switch to xiao so sucrose energy particles will go him.switch to kaeya use his e to charge his ult. switch to xiao use all his e i predict xiao will have his ult. Diona use e to charge her ult.switch to kaeya use q switch to sucrose use q switch to xiao use his q then plunge spam after xiao ult use diona for reset then repeat.

I wished they would come out with an artifact set for him that gave anemo damage 2 piece and 4 piece gave plunge damage/elemental skill damage / or some type of aoe damage or just something idk really. Most hyped character in the game and there isnt even an optimal 4 piece set for him. Too bad noblesse O doesnt work with the whole time he is in his q form.
When he is plunging is everything pretty much I frames, like maybe thats why his Hp drains. Would have been too OP otherwise?
Literally everbody is building two piece vira/ 2 piece gladiator , I know alot of people will be testing out different builds, but that def is the one I have seen people preparing for him the most.
4 piece gladi does not boost plunge damage…
Zhongli also reduces resistance of all types soon with out constellation

Good video! Wanted to note that 2 gladiator and 2 viri will be his best set. 4 viri can’t be utilized because of Xiao’s lack of creating swirl (not confirmed yet though.) he also shouldn’t use 4 gladiator because it says “normal attack damage.” Xiao’s main damage is with plunging attacks and not normal attacks, meaning it is useless.
What do you think about beidou support xiao?
Remark on C6: I't not plunge -> E -> plunge -> E etc. Beta has shown that his ideal playstyle for C6 is jump -> plunge -> E, E, E -> jump -> plunge etc. and then hop off the field until you get his burst back.

4 set Gladiator on Xiao is not a good idea. Because 4 set bonus only applies on normal and charged attack. Xiao's DMGs mostly comes from utilizing his plunge attacks. So, 2 set Viridecent, 2 Gladiator is much better

All i know is, when ganyu starts hitting 30k charge shots you start looking at her completely different than the best bird killer in the game. You also debate going hard on her banner right before the xiao banner, skipping it and then going hard on ayaka, assuming shes after. But it might be that new five star polearm chic also.

I think the deathmatch is a nice weapon, crit rate is always good, and the passive has no downside nor time limits, it's just a straight up boost. That being said I'm gonna use the jade spear since I have it, and it's literally the best for him, I'm currently leveling it up.
Zhongli's shield at 1.3 will have a universal res. shred, so he would be the one to provide consistent resistance shred for Xiao and all other characters.
Does his E skill generate energy?
