Xiao is an Anemo based polearm user with a fast-paced moveset, with an Elemental Skill that allows him to lunge forward twice(three times with a constellation) and an Elemental Burst(Ultimate) that amplifies his damage and causes all his normal attacks to convert into Anemo Damage(Much like Chongyun’s Elemental Skill).

Xiao may change due to how powerful his character was in the Beta and how his moveset depended on his Plunging attack in his Ultimate State. This may be especially true given how Zhongli was nerfed in comparison to what was initially expected
Gladiator’s Set is a decent set if you plan to use him as your main DPS, as it provides a flat attack% increase.
If you’re of a lower Adventure Rank then the Gladiator’s Set and Berserker’s set both accomplished a similar effect to a full Gladiators set piece.

All I can say is that even if he is an Anemo user, he does not need a single bit of Elemental Mastery for stats. Just my piece of advice when picking out his artifacts 🙂

Even though his ascension gives him crit rate a crit rate weapon would still be great on him that was you can focus on artifacts that give crit damage and not have to worry if it's missing crit rate. Also that being said you have more room for atk%, energy recharge, and elemental mastery if you like.
did they change it so that his ult doesn't buff the dmg of his plunges anymore?
His c2 really sucks if your on coop. It needs a rework.

Im building him with full Gladiators set i already have great Main stats and Sub stats in my artifacts. With Xiao´s crit rate he will have 90.5% and Crit Damage 166% im still thinking if i have enough primogems to try and get the Jade Spear, im actually using Skyward Spine and i think its really good for him. Artifacts are HP, ATK, ATK%, ANEMO DMG and CR%.
Just going to play it with bennet,fischl,albedo,can"t wait to see the albedo cristal procs with the Q of xiao.

I am not f2p I am buying the 5 euros pack and x1 100euros pack by month. 600/1000 euros to lucky to unlucky to max a five stars héro not worth it like a normal worker in society don"t gain that much to afford it.
Crescent pike is not good for all dps, It is good only for physical dps , bug xiao infuses his autos with anemo, so…useless for him sadly

Im am running a full viredescent venerer build with attack on the sands, anemo damage on the cup, and crit rate on the circlet. I am also using the creasant pike (r3). I am planning on using him as a main dps. The team for Xiao is Xiao + Qiqi + Venti + Xinqui. The optimal order for max dps is to use Xinqui's skill, tag an enemy with Qiqi's talismen, use Venti's burst then finally Xiaos burst. If Xiao seems to be lacking in damage I will run a 2 piece Viredescent Venerers with a 2 piece gladiators (keeping the anemo goblet).
