    Ugh, I despised the Lantern Rite anecdotes… I really hope this isn't how they go about giving free skins…

    …Because I'll still do it and suffer through it, even though it feels like the reward isn't quite worth it.
    Depends on the character, though… Assuming the free skins will only be for 4-stars, the ones I'd be most willing to suffer for are Sucrose, Yanfei, and Diona.

12. Nothing wrong with paid skins. I think it would be good for them to make some skins only obtainable through money, it will reduce the chances of the game steering into ACTUAL p2w direction.

13. I personally hope that the Jean skin is NOT tied to a gacha banner.

    Taking into account what other games do for skins (Azur Lane, LoL, etc.), premium skins are bought for a fixed amount, ranging anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on particle effects or changes to voice lines etc. I would personally not have an issue paying to get a premium skin directly, however if that skin is tied to a gacha system, and considering the possibility of it using the same pity system as regular banners, I would skip it entirely.

    If, for example, the skin were tied to a more premium version of the battle pass (say $10 for normal, $20 for premium, $25 for premium + skin) then again, I would gladly pay as I'm assured to get the item I want. It still remains to be seen how MiHoYo will implement the skin system; I for one see it as an amazing opportunity as skins are really what drives up a freemium games economy, but implemented incorrectly it could backfire.

    TL;DR: MiHoYo, thank you for giving us skins! Please do NOT make them a random get from gacha, let us give you our money directly for them!
