If the weapon rate-up banner that comes with Xiao features the Primordial Jade Spear instead of the Staff of Homa, I'd say the probability of Hu Tao coming in 1.3 is still quite high. If the opposite is true however, I'm gonna have to tone down my expectations by a lot. Either way, I won't roll for anything until the day she arrives. I've been interested in her ever since I read my characters' opinions about her, even before her rough model got leaked.

1.More and more evidence in chinese community shows that hutao is in the 3rd banner.
2.The real lantern festival (Feb.26th)is the end of the CNY, so after that ,hutao releasing makes sense!
Remember when they didnt respect thanksgiving or Christmas or western new year cause they said they wouldnt account for real life holidays they should have never said that now they just look like hypocrites imo

I really hope you’re right my man as I already prefarmed everything I need to take her to lvl 90 alongside deathmatch and talents too.
But even though everything makes sense, I believe there could possibly be a Zhongli rerun after the buff he’s getting in 1.3.
I just really hope you’re right tho as I can’t wait for her to come home. When the time comes I will eventually be ready 🙂
Edit: I just need to farm the new boss coming with 1.3 obviously, but will do that everyday till I get all the mats I need starting from day 1 of patch 1.3 😁

and im gonna say hu tao is a prankster .. and what did mihoyo do .. they tried to played us with us with who tao? . my guess they try fool us with thinking that shes not coming .. they want people to whale for xiao and keqing so when they suddenly dropped hu tao banner some people are now forced to spend their money to get hu tao because they are broke after going all out for xiao and keqing .. its kinda smart and greedy strategy by mihoyo if you ask me .. but this is mostly just a guess .. take it with grain of salt..

I wish they'd just say something about Hu Tao in a discrete way like "Pyro character soon" they don't even have to mention her name. They're screwing all the people that want her, I know lots of people want Xiao lots of Hu Tao fans will have to skip Xiao for her, Not announcing when Hu Tao comes out the people that want Hu Tao might just pull for Xiao, This might just be Mihoyos plan to get more people to spend though.

One small addition, which conflicts with the weapon coming already: There is a Chinese celebration for the dead on the 4th of April. And with four week patches, we might get a whole month dedicated to her and Qiqi. With April being for possibly Venti and Mona (and the speculated Mondstadt festival). Keqing, Mona and Qiqi were new on release, but were directly in the standard banner, never getting their own. Until next month. It would make sense, is all I'm saying. Only the Staff of Homa is confusing in this.
